Working with a Japanese company i need a quicker way to communicate. The translation work very well and it has additional languages that you can change to. It also comes with a feature the allows you to live translate a conversation as you talk. Only setback i have is when turning it n it has a LOUD beep that gets annoying. There may be a way to turn it off but i don't know how yet. But other then that im glad i have it.

I traveled this summer to the middle east and was hoping that this device would be helpful in translation. It did list various dialects of Arabic and I was hopeful that it would be accurate in my travels.However it isn't able to translate various dialects of Arabic. It is able to translate back and forth between English and classical Arabic only.I'm not sure of othet languages have this limitation as well as I only used the Arabic. Needless to say there were many translations that were not accurate at all.I liked the size and that it was pretty light weight. The battery charge was enough for me as I could charge it often.

The biggest issue with this is the touchscreen responsiveness. Honestly, it would've been sooo much better to just have radial buttons that need to be pressed rather than relying on the cheap 2009 android screen it has. *sigh* I'm disappointed because I had high hopes is all.The functionality is decent, but not super reliable. For example, I took a picture of the word Flash, and it interpreted the symbols nearby the word as words needing to be translated, however, any closer of an image and the word couldn't be read because the camera is also 2009 quality.. So, for large spaced out text it would probably work 100% of the time, the further you get from large, clear, and with nothing near by (spaced out) then the less reliable I think it'll be. Again, not the worst, but not the best either.For the speech function, once you get the hang of which side is translating for which speaker it gets easier. I highly advise you go through and pre-download any languages you might end up needing though because if you don't already have it downloaded and there is no wifi it definitely wont work.I do think with all the inconveniences of this device, you're probably better off using google translate on your personal cellphone. It can also work offline and pre-download languages, but you wont run into any functionality issues that your personal device doesn't already have... *shrug*Because it works, *ish* I am still giving it 3 stars.. Seems like, even not fully functioning, it could work to help someone out.I will say, that once I got the screen to swipe to the far end where the settings are, I was not able to get it to swipe back. I still am not fully sure what I'm missing out on between the main page and the last page... All I know is you can access all the features from the main page through the radial buttons, even if you can't swipe back to the page their options are on. Which is also why I gave it 3 stars. Even without full screen functionality they did manage to make the basic translation options available through the buttons.

False advertisement, I really needed this for a language that is listed on Amazon as being one of the languages translated… lies!!!! All lies!!!!!!!! I’m livid! What a joke! Don’t buy a translator that comes from China! I beyond upset 😠🤬😤😖
