An excellent little kit. My first construction for a very long time. I enjoyed building it and was please when it worked.

Easy to build but power thirsty
Easy to solder together with clear instructions and works but will eat batteries, even though there should be very minimal power needed for this circuit. Best suited for something that is only on for short periods such as a toy else will require a psu to run

Battery life terrible!
I enjoyed building this kit, it is quite basic and you only really need a soldering iron and a steady hand. I like that you can vary the flash rate between the two LED's. I installed it in a dummy alarm box. Problem is, a brand new 9V duracell battery only lasted a week. So the circuit is too power hungry as i also have a similar product in a trailer which has a 5 year battery life
