Love all Sam Cooke songs, you can hear every word he sings

I always LOVED Sam Cooke and I am enjoying listening all over again. his gentle tones massage my emotions and leave me in a very mellow mood.This music brings back very happy memories and seems to stand the test of time!It is also excellent value for money with the number of his best songs.

I don't think there is anything generally on the pop scene today that compares with what was available in the sixties. I have always admired Sam Cooke and his easy singing style, no shouting and melodic music that one can singalong with, not to mention the understandable lyrics. I enjoyed this album and is destined to be played over and over again

I love this singer. Played the album and loved it. Nice to see You Send Me as one of the title listings. Heard that many years ago. It's been ages since I heard it. There are some covers of songs done here by Sam Cooke. Ol' Man River is one I normally associate with Paul Robeson.This is a lovely album.
