Ultralight Glow Stick

Bought this product to use in doing some light painting with my camera and my lensball. For this purpose, it worked out well. You can look at the photos that I have attached to the review. I will in the near future (when it gets a little warmer outside) try to use it for outdoor light painting to see how well it works there also. Will need to get my tethers out for that to see how well I can do there.PRO: Very bright, a great deal of light settings, easy to handle for the pictures, inexpensive compared to pro photography choices.CON: Difficult to open battery compartment, directions on how to use it are a little hard to understandCould I recommend it for its intended purpose of Rave Poi - No I can not since I did not use it that way. However, for what I did use it for, it worked out great and I am looking forward to trying it outside for light painting.

I had one use with my glow stick. I called the number on the card and was able to speak with a real person. He was very personable and all about helping me with my issue. I think it's a great product. I've been spinning for 20 years and this is a fun gadget to spin with.

I've gotten so many compliments on these at raves and festivals! I also got the silicone outer protective diffuser covers, and they look way cooler with the covers on (they look like mystical crystals). I will say that they are not the easiest lights to program, and even with the instructions, there is definitely a learning curve, but once you learn how to program them, they are very customizable. Each light takes a single AAA battery, and the battery door is kinda hard to open, so I just keep a flat head screwdriver bit with me, and that works great. I bring a spare set of rechargeable batteries, which is just about perfect to last for one night at a rave or festival. PLUR! :)

I am learning to use Poi lights and this looked great, and it is. BUT I CAUTION Please Read The Caption Closely, I thought this came as a pair, but it ONLY A SINGLE LIGHT. It does state that in the description but is easy to over look.The Light is very bright and has a wonderful array and combination of settings, and looks fantastic. It should look even better when I have two. LOL

You only get 1 stick and no leashes so its a better deal to buy the complete set pair with leash

These lights are great for when you walk your dog as I do. Cars see the patterns way off as some of the colors are very bright. Everybody who sees these likes them. I enjoy playing with the patterns which you get to know after a short time. Wish they were cheaper and I would buy tons of them.

It works pretty cool for light painting with long exposure and my daughter liked the brightness, however is has terrible flaws.Frst it was hard to get the settings to work the way of the manual. Found myself having to remove the battery to really reset it so I can set the mode I want.Second, while spinning it on a wire, the entire guts (battery and electronics) went flying into the night out of the glow stick.For 20 bucks I would have expected better quality. The plastic holding the two sides together is flimsier than the battery door.
