Battery worked
The battery worked for a while, but I ended up having to hook up a "C" wire to my thermostat to keep it properly powered up, which I can't blame the battery for.

Battery arrived almost dead
Ordered this battery, it arrived very low to the point it would link to internet and many options are unavailable. See pictures. In the process of trouble shooting and options

It works
It works. It was used to replace the old battery that died in our Nest that operates our a/c.

Solid choice; higher capacity than my OEM.
UPDATE:As promised I'm updating my review after installing the battery. The new battery went in without too much trouble. The trickiest part is unplugging the old battery without damaging the socket, for in my case Google had a spongy sticker on top of the plug that needed to be scrapped off before it would disconnect. The plug/socket is small and plastic, so work carefully and do not force it, or you will break the socket and may not be able to then plug in the new battery. The replacement battery also had a longer wires on the plug, so it needed to be carefully folded out of the way and taped down.Initially the new battery, still left me with low voltage, for out of the box it was initially reading as 3.668v. I suspected it did not come fully charged, or had discharged some as it sat in the box, so I took it off the wall and charged it with an external charger overnight. In the morning it then read 3.87v and works fine (no longer low voltage), and over time it has been maintaining good voltage. The next day it actually increased, to read 3.88v. The 2+ year old battery that had been my nest would benefit from external charging too, but then drop back to low voltage within a couple days. In contrast to that, with this new battery installed, that does not seem to be the case. I'm very happy this has resolved my low voltage issue. If I have any future issues I will return again to update this review.=======================================A high capacity battery compared to the oem one that was within my Nest Gen3 thermostat. The tools are of sufficient quality for the job, and it included a sticker for keeping the new battery in place. My original battery was 2.1Wh 3.7v, and was indicating "low battery" after a bit over 2 years of use. Under "Technical Info" the app was showing the battery at 3.66v. Removing it and charging thru the port brought it up to v3.84 volts and got ride of the low battery issue, but I don't expect that to last, and it is nice to have this higher capacity, fresh battery at the ready. I will return to update this review once that is done, and to report what its voltage shows, and how long it remains at that higher point.

Good option for replacement Nest thermostat battery
We started getting the low battery message on our Nest learning thermostat (3rd gen) and got this battery as a replacement. It is worth noting, according to Google/Nest, that the battery in the thermostat is not meant to be changed but this kit comes with everything you need including the screwdriver for the tiny screws and the pry tool. You do need to be careful when removing the old battery as there are some covers/stickers protecting the plug for the battery. Once installed, the battery will likely need a day or so to be charged back up. But since replacing, we haven’t received the low voltage message anymore. Battery overall seems like similar quality to the original. Would recommend.

Easy to install
The original battery on my Nest Thermostat was made by Samsung and lasted about 7 years. There were error codes being displayed that required external charging every time. This replacement made by an unknown manufacturer appears to be of similar quality although I am not sure how long it will last.Everything needed for the quick install was included -screwdriver that fits the tiny screws on the unit and pry tool with the square shaped double sided sticker to stick the battery to the insides once it is installed. Tiny dimensions made installing the battery leads difficult, maybe better to use forceps or similar tool to accomplish this easily. One end of the pry tool also broke but battery quality seems to be good and even better if high capacity since it may reduce charge discharge cycles (not sure of this though).

Nice kit with all of the tools needed
This battery kit is nice. It fits the Nest thermostat perfectly. It’s a bit of a challenge to get the battery connector put back on, but I finally got it. Look on YouTube for instructions on how to take your nest thermostat apart, and don’t be worried, it really comes apart easily. Just keep track of all of the screw. In my case, I got it apart and the new battery in, but in the process I found a burn on the circuit board. It was a lightning strike that took it out and I was hoping the battery had shorted. The batter did swell up some, but unfortunately it wasn’t the fix. Still give it 5 stars because of the capacity and fit.
