I have severe scoliosis in my lower back. Will this pillow relieve some of the pain?

I don't know why not. I don't think its going to melt. I thought it was going to be much softer than it is. It's very firm....just thought I'd add that.

Is this safe to use, with its strap, in a car that has seat deployed air bags

I never used mine in the car yet just on my chair. I think you wouldn't have to use the strap in your car if you didn't want to. Pillow shoul stay in position once your sitting.

Invaluable for remote workers and those with back pain

I work remotely and this has proved to be a game changer for increasing my comfort levels throughout the day as well as helping with the pain I experience from musculoskeletal and nerve issues in my back and spine. It fits perfectly well on my office chair, the shape and firmness supporting my lower and mid back without putting more pressure on any areas. I've noticed improvements to my seated posture. I've been using this alongside the seat cushion and foot rest from the same company and they are amazing together.
