Great!! This heat cutting tool has just the fine pointed tip I need to make my freestandin ornaments, flowers, etc. The tool gets hot quickly and does a great job cutting my sheer fabrics that I use for freestanding items. I love the fine tips that allow me to apply the heat just where I want it and not damage any of the surrounding fabrics.

I just tested it and it looks fine, though I have not yet been able to use it for a longer period. But Ilove the ease it brings to cutting. I will post additional reviews when I get to use it longer.

no directions
There weren't any instructions on how to change the tips. When I screwed the unit I pulled it and realized I had broken it. It was pricier than other hot knives but I was so excited to get it. Now it's going in the trash. If they had written directions on how to change the tips this wouldn't have happened. Btw you unscrew the tips off. I had tried this at first but when it didn't unscrew easily I then thought you had to unscrew the phillip s head screw. Nope. Very disappointed.
