This covers the regular metal ring that comes when they install the disposal. The sink looks more solid since it is all one color. My only complaint is that you need to keep cleaning around the edge because liquids like coffee collect there even when you are being careful to pour them directly into the drain.

Absolutely love the look, matches sink perfectly. Wasn't until installing I realized it does not replace the flange assembly that comes with the garbage disposal. So don't spend time removing the old thinking this will replace it. As others mentioned, this flange is solely for looks. It fits over the top of the stainless steel flange. It's not long enough and doesn't have the appropriate grooves. I haven't experienced water puddling but it's easy to remove, clean and replace if needed. A bit overpriced considering it is just for appearance.

Great color match. Easy install

We installed a new sink and got this matching plug unit. It looks great, stops the water from draining when pushed down and is well build. But! As a filter to keep food or anything from going down the drain, it is a terrible design. It only stops large items. We are on a septic tank and for years have used a little $2 stainless steel wire screen and it caught everything. Now almost everythng the old screen caught slips right by and down the drain. Our poor septic tank doesn't know what's going on. The water drains through a disposal which we never had to use before. Now, all those little pieces of food (that were being trapped in the filter) are going into the disposal, which we now have to acutally turn on to get it to drain.I rated it a 3 because it does look nice and stops water. As a filter, it's a 1.

Fit perfect

This stopper it perfect! It matches exact! Just keep in mind you should remove it at least once a week to clear underneath it and around the rubber stopper. It tend to get build up and your sink might start to stink. I would definelty recommend it. I actually purchased two at the same time. That way if the rubber wears out or something happens I have a backup. I plan on having this sink for many years and didn't want this part to get discontinued if they change colors.

Looks great and works well!We almost returned because we didn’t know this is supposed to only fit on top of your existing flange(like insinkerator). Once we figured out this was not a replacement for the flange, it was easy to install and looks great!

Love the color choices in this drain. However, the disposal one had no neck (didn't look like the instructions) and I never could get it to connect to any extension. I also bought the sink drain one which looks great with my stone sink. That one was the proper size to reach past my sink and connect.
