I will start by saying that I am a 27 year old adult. Every single kind of insertable earbud or earplug is practically unwearable for me because they hurt so bad. I thought I had tried everything. All the products that say "small ear friendly" are total crap. Blasphemous lies. They still hurt.I was very frustrated and almost gave up and risked tinnitus until one day my mom casually mentions kid earplugs. I don't have kids, so I didn't know they were a thing. Gee thanks Mom, for waiting so long to suggest something helpful. (This is sarcasm. Kinda.)I thought these looked most useful and comfortable as opposed to other types of earplugs. Turns out I was right. The flanges are super bendy and soft, and the colorful middle piece can be removed for less sound blockage which is allegedly what makes the expensive alternative so much better. Sorry to burst loop's bubble. (I'm not.) They are not special because these cheap earplugs do the same thing.All to say, these earplugs are great, everything I've ever wanted even. They actually fit and don't hurt, they have two settings to block out noise, and they are cheap.Apparently, I have child-sized ear canals, as it were. But I don't care because acceptance is the first step or whatever, and now I finally found a good solution.
