The media could not be loaded. Every now and then I find a product that exceeds my expectations. This is one of them. It’s a no frills, simple tool that’s well crafted and should last decades if properly taken care of. It is balanced, easy and comfortable to hold, simple to use, very sharp with a slightly curved blade, and extremely effective. It makes quick work of weeding and digging small beds and is a pleasure to use. What surprised me most is my teenager who has never shown an interest in gardening before, enjoys using this tool and has done a couple beds without me having to ask.This had immediately become my favorite and now essential gardening too. I can’t believe I never had one before! I will say that the price for a such a basic tool may turn some people off but trust me, it’s worth it.

This is a made-in-China "Japanese-style" hoe. It is small and a little too light-weight. It arrived with a cracked handle, which can affect durability and usability. I wrapped the handle with multipurpose cloth tape to increase comfort. However, given that the product is defective, I cannot trust it and will not recommend to anyone.
