Chessex Figure Storage Box for 25mm Humanoids (80 Figure), Gray

This is the fourth box I have bought
I have bought three of these figure boxes over the past year. They do indeed hold 80 25mm/28mm sized human figures, arranged in the two layers of foam compartments, and have a hard but flexible board between the layers which makes it easier to lift the top layer.I have also bought the 40-figue box of the same size and brand, which has only one layer and is suitable for larger figures, like mounted cavalry figures. The 80- figure box's compartments are a little snug for 28mm figures, but this still seems to be the best box on the market for my purposes.

Solid protection for your carefully painted minis
Solid protection for your carefully painted minis. I have many of these cases for my collection (don't judge me) and these are scaled perfectly for standard 'small' or 'medium' sized D&D, Pathfinder, or other popular table-top role playing games. I also use these cases to store painted miniatures for my board games like Talisman or Zombicide.

Good case for DnD figures, NOT Warhammer/Gamesworkshop
I just want to let anyone out there that is thinking about getting this case because they might be getting into a Games Workshop games other miniature bases games; those figures-specifically the bases are to large for this case. This is a fine case for what it was designed for, and that 'aint your Kill Team, i'm sorry to tell you from experience. If you want to keep your finally detailed DnD miniatures protected (I personally throw them all in a parts sorter), this is probably the case for you.

Very sturdy storage solution for the price
I've included a couple of pictures of my figures stored in the case. These are 20mm figures mounted on a U.S. Penny for the base. Please note that this is about all the deeper the figure compartment is. For larger 28-32mm figures on corresponding 20-30mm bases, I think this will be a tight fit. That said, this is a far better storage solution for 20mm, or smaller, figures because there isn't a ton of wasted space. The case itself is thinner than some college textbooks I've owned and would be well suited to be thrown into a backpack for a day at the FLGS. This should fit smaller figure lines, such as Reaper Minis, as well.

The box is very sturdy and the foam, while thin, is sufficient for *smaller* minis.
I feel this is a quality product (a bit expensive for what it is, but nice). The case is heavy plastic and the layout is perfect for smaller minis. The problem for me is that it holds only small minis. I have mostly 35 and 28mm minis with some 32mm and 28 heroic and they just don't fit very well. Granted this isn't what the case was designed for - but given even 25mm minis - if they have bows or larger/wider stances/weapons they just don't fit very well. My bases (25mm) stick considerably up past the top of the foam.So I'd say don't buy this for Frostgrave, Rangers of Shadowdeep, Reaper Minis, etc. Get something with slightly larger openings (and perhaps slightly deeper). Fatter models like Warhammer would probably not fit at all well.

You get what you pay for, a mediocre product
It's super meh. I'll be buying something much nicer from a local shop instead of online.Only keeping it for all my small creature/monster minis.Pros:-The padding is sufficient for metal figures-Great if you only have small minis-Nice hard case-Portable sizeCons:-Spaces do not fit anything but my smaller creature minis. Cannot recommend for anyone wanting this case for: regular size DnD, Pathfinder, and War-hammer+kill-team character/npc minis.-Case has strange bubbled up top. Looks super weird even when most of the padding is out of it.-Pressure style clasps for closing lid. Pushing on the lid to close it on plastic and resin minis feels bad bro.-Case really should be deeper based off how much padding it comes with. I took out half of it b/c otherwise it doesn't fit with only 2 layers of minis inside it.

Worth it
The containers are very secure for miniatures, they hold a large amount and are probably safer. A big annoyance is that you have too CUT THEM ALL OUT. It is thee absolute most annoying thing to cut out each individual slot, they should’ve been cut completely. Another issue is the “hinge”, i feel like its gonna come apart soon with it being white on the plastic. A real hinge would work

The large figure slots are not very large
The latches are just slip over flaps and make it very hard to open the case. The slots for the minis are none too large. There is no way I could fit an ogre in one, I have to cut out divisions to fit one.
