Things aren't really trending in the right direction these days. Most everyone with a functioning brain can see it. It certainly doesn't hurt to be a little prepared when it comes to these types of situations. Riots, political unrest, violence, home invasions... it is getting real out there. I'd rather be safe than sorry, that's why I picked up this tactical vest, capable of holding plates and with plenty of attachment points for making this a highly customizable piece of kit for your survival and defense needs.The adjustments on the sides made it fit well for me, and I can see how it would work for a variety of body sizes. It really does have a ton of points onto which you can affix various holsters, pouches, patches, gear, etc. The plate carriers open from the bottom with a long hook & loop fastener that tucks around the back to secure it in place.The color and construction are nice, and overall, it is a great piece of kit that I'm happy to own and recommend at $35 (at the time of this review).

This is my 2nd weighted vest; the other one I have has clips that is almost impossible to open. This one while tough (aka durable) is much easier to open and close and the vest itself adjusts easily enough to also hold in place.For $36, this seems like a steal to me. My other vest was almost double that price and hands down I'd take this one over that one.If it wears unusual or anything I'll be sure to update my review but right now, I'm very happy with it and would recommend it!

I’m glad that this is marketed as a weigh vest for fitness, such as WODs, etc. While it looks really cool like a real tactical vest, I’m gonna say that it’s just for working out. Now, if I’m working out and there’s an active shooter scenario happening around me, am I gonna be glad I’m wearing this? Ohhhh yeahhhh. HOWEVER, this is not what the vest is for. This is for working out. And hey, you’ll look cool and all bootcampy doing it too. For a bit of realism or perhaps if you’re preparing for basic training or whatever, add some items using the MOLLE system and wear this doing your workouts. This is a great vest, as long as you remember that it’s intended for working out and not for urban protection.

The stitching on the vest is not well done resulting in the straps to come loose or removed if user is trying to tighten to body. The price overall for the product isn't bad however I would recommend that once you get the product you take it to a seamstress to have it reenforced for extra or added support.

The shoulders have pads which is nice. This is well made and strong. It did not come with any weight plates. The velcro is strong and sewn on well. I can't comment on how comfortable it is until I order some plates for it but it fits as expected. Lots of places to hang gear from it.

It has the aesthetic and feel of a plate carrier, but the colors are horrible and the reservoir for the plate is very small. I wish I'd seen that all of the previous reviews were by people who got it for free.I'm very disappointed.

I got this to increase the intensity of my daily walks. The vest fits well and seems constructed well, but only time will tell. I only use ten pounds in the vest at this point, and it is comfortable - at least as comfortable as simply using a backpack.It will take time to see how well this item holds up, but it currently offers good value at its price point.
