Well designed and made. Easy to use with good handle and steady, even pour. Quiet. Best kettle I’ve had. Recommend.

Overall this kettle is good but it only seems to last a few months past the 2 year warranty. This has happened to me twice now but as it's part of a set then I replaced it again.

Good, quick boiling kettle. Timed a full boil at 3m 40 secs if that helps anyone. Fairly quiet whilst boiling and seems well built.One downside is the 'factory' taste. It took a good 12 full boils for the taste and smell to go. The other downside and reason for just the four stars is the base seems very flimsy and cheap. I would have preferred a bit more of a chunkier base. Anyway, no major complaints and does what it needs to do and looks good.

Used since Monday. 3 cleaning boils, then an initial cup of tea. Clear water and clean taste. I live in Kent, hard water and wanted a kettle with a removable lid for cleaning. This fits the need. Large hole for male hands too to get inside. Nicely made with some chrome style strips for a little style. Didn't want 3Kw boil, but they all seem to be that now. Nice to hold, handle not textured, but not found it slippery with dry hands. Handle allows multiple pouring angles. Spout - The spout, at last, a wide spout! This means you can pour fairly quickly without water leaking from around the lid. Very nice, love it. My only complaint, the 360 degree base is a bit on the light side and the power cable can push it about a bit. It would be nice to kettle makers fit a weighted base, a heavy metal, as when the kettle boils it does wobble a lot and also there is a little resonance in the structure, a buzz, as it comes to the boils; so not the quietest kettle, but appears well made. I have had Breville's before and found them to be good workhorses, so I hope that legacy continues. P.S. This replaces a Morphy Richards!

Lovely kettle.Does what it says on the tin.

I got a good replacement unit because the 1st one didn't evenly toast the bread from the middle slots, as no doubt due to quality control during manufacturing. However, the replacement was spot on in a far more even spread of THICK & Medium sliced bread for toasting. It easily toasted pre-sliced Bagels and then I toasted very easily crumpets. The added ability of defrosting frozen bread and re-warming toasted bread is a good feature because there's even light led built-in on the front next to switch that illuminates to verify that option is now chosen which makes the toaster look more cool to seeing that is happening!Yes, this one of the best toasters I have in quite a while and I am over time now replacing most of my kitchen electricals for Breville branded ones, as I found there units to be of decent & reliable quality in being truly fit for the purpose they were made for over most other brands making them worth the extra pennies spent on them for very long term use.

The kettle looks nice and does work but it is a very ill designed and DANGEROUS piece of equipment !First of all the body of the kettle made of uninsulated metal....which means that after use the whole kettle is blistering hot except for the plastic handle. Result: 2 people with blistered hands and fingers.Second the metal spout of the kettle is not finished and ends in a razor sharp edge.... good for slashing finger tips when cleaning ! I don't even know how such a thing was certified for public sale !
