It is the 19 part tv series which followed on from V and Final Battle I loved the original mini series of V when it was first on tv and despite the lower budget and slightly naff story lines of the tv series that followed I still waited up late at night to watch that too. The transfer onto dvd isn't great but what do you expect from a mid 80's tv show which was shot on video tape and which has not been remastered or cleaned up. For the first 30 seconds I was thinking "this looks poor" but then the story kicked off and I didn't mind any more. It in no way spoilt my re-enjoying of the show after so many years.
