It doesn't work. Put the batteries in with difficulty because the battery box was very difficult to open. So much for senior arthritis. Tried to open a can at least 10 times, but the top never popped open. Had to buy a regular can opener immediately. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Bought this and was very skeptical based on the only English US reviews were mainly negative. One complaint was how hard it is to open the battery cover. I can see if you have arthritis it being a bit difficult, but seems just like an average tight fit so I have no complaints. I immediately opened this and realized I did not have 2 AA batteries. So I took some really cheap ones from my child’s toy and used those. Now it sounded like it was struggling but being used with cheap batteries from a 3 year old toy I wasn’t surprised, but it worked. Clean cut all the way around. After I put 2 energizer lithium batteries and it worked flawlessly. For almost half the price as all other one touch automatic can openers on Amazon, this works for half the price so I am happy. Will update this review after a few more weeks of use to see how it holds up but so far, so good.

Do not buy this product. Does not cut the can at all. Tried following the directions, but nothing. Returning for refund.

Definitely should have read the reviews. This thing does not work. Don’t waste your money like everyone else.
