We have an older dog and I was looking for something to make his travels up and down our stairs easier. These not only make the stairs less slippery, but are beautiful and super plush under foot. I have had them for about a month with zero slippage or movement of the grip. I did buy carpet tape just in case, but haven’t had to use it.

We’ve got slippery old wooden stairs down to our basement guest room and these treads were the perfect cushion and made the stairs less slippery. The material is actually mouse pad material. Nice to step on.

They are NOT at all what they’re described as. They are not carpet and barely useable. My dogs need soft texture to walk on and grip coming up the stairs. These pop right up and don’t stay down, also they’re NOT carpet! Just a giant mouse pad. Not great quality for the price. Buyer beware not like description.

Bought a pack for my basement stairs that I just refinished and love how they turned out. We have a puppy and he has already went pee on these and all I did was throw them in the wash and good as new!! Cute, and easily maintainable. I am going to buy another pack for my upstairs stairs.

Overall, as some others have said the material does seem very similar to that of a mousepad which doesn’t really bother me as I use it in a basement. I like the design and color it came in and it seems durable, however there is little to no ease of adhesion to my steps. Very easy to install because of this you literally just slap them down. I bought for my dog and will have to add something to help keep them in place otherwise they slide around way too easily.
