Lightning cables have a chip, they Do Not Last. Sometimes ya get lucky but chances are that you will be buying more cables in the future. This cable is great and I purchased a replacement cable with it because of the above. The best I found for the price is the AmazonBasics 4" for 5 bucks. I did not know if they would work with this product but I took a chance knowing that USB is USB and Lighting is the same. Yes, the original cable looks better but look at the picture, it works great. Two key points is that you have to fully insert the cable ends no matter what cable you use... dagh. Second thing is the Big Beautiful Ring that keeps this attached to your life. It is metal and it is big, so it will not fit onto all zippers. Nice thing about this that during summer, it will be secure on my short's belt loops. After years of experience, I have not meet a portable battery charger that is dependable. Also tried many battery charging cases and they are not dependable as well. I found a wall outlet USB Power Adapter that is slim and I can carry with me (iKits) otherwise, there are USB outlets everywhere now-days. (Like, back of tv's car stereos, power strips even have them now.) Give me a wall outlet anyday instead of a carry with you battery pack. Good Luck

This little keychain has been great, and has saved my phone from dying many times. I still have a 6S+, and the battery isn’t the greatest at this point.I’ve had this cord now for a whole year. I’m guessing that there are some manufacturing variances in the product, because I haven’t experienced any of the issues that other people seem to have encountered. It charges every time I plug it in, no wobble in he charge port, obviously it’s still in one piece.The one *slight* thing about it is that the lightning end of the cable doesn’t always stay in the key ring holder. But the USB end fits in there really snug, so I don’t feel that it’s going anywhere.I’ve had a couple other pocket cords/travel cords, and this one has been by far the best. It’s sturdy and it charges every time. What else can you ask for??

I like the design very much with one caveat: On vacation I wore this on a belt loop, and I found that the USB end of the cable isn't tight enough in its housing and would occasionally slip out. Fortunately the lightning connector never came loose, but it is a worry that could cause me to lose the cable. Otherwise its great and does a nice job charging. Going forward I'm carrying it in my work bag.

The iphone connection got a little loose and the loop opens often. Other than that, I love it.

Great price, nice quality.. I keep this hooked to my tech bag on the outside so its easily accessible for me whenever I need a lightning cable. Clutter free, small foot print, and handy. Perfect for what I what I wanted it for.

For starters I paid $14.99 for the item, open package and there was a price tag of $5.00 on item. Then proceeded to try to use item and it didn’t work. Tried to charge item for 2 days still didn’t work. Requested return and when I dropped off at the post office there was a $3.47 shipping fee. I didn’t even pay for shipping to receive the item! Very very very disappointed and highly irritated!!!! Would NOT recommend!!!

I have a Lifeproof case on my phone. This won't work. I would have to remove the case to connect the cable. That kinda defeats the purpose so that was a disappointment. Will have to read the product description more closely for this disclaimer. All cables aren't created equal.

Unfortunately, the wall prongs keep falling apart. When I downsized to a cordless option, I didn't know what to do as far as making sure the cord and the charger stayed together. This charger was working fine for about a week, but has now stopped working with my iPhone 7. Be weary!

great looks , perfect size but they do not stay plug in.. they work fine charging at home but soon as I try to charge with my external battery while its in my bag or pocket or even holding by hands. phone part just come unplug.connection goes to iphone is too lose as brand new
