As far as looks/style, this is one of my favorite slings and seems to be well made. However, for my needs, it turned out to be just a bit too small. That's not a bad reflection on the bag - just that that aspect doesn't work for me. I really like the bungee web whereas the water bottle pocket is insanely small in diameter - unusable for what I carry - however, it's perfect for a travel umbrella. Also, if the main compartment is packed full, it does really limit the smaller pocket capacity.

The media could not be loaded. This bag can hold allot of stuff and has a few different compartments drink a spot for your sunglasses to a secured zipper spot for change etc this bag is comfy and looks good too

So small and fits a lot

Bag itself was nice but the pocket for the water bottle is way too small . And it's strange because they could have you pot expanding material to help fit a normal water bottle. Won't work for my current intentions with was for theme parks.

Smaller than expected, but seems to be well made. It’ll work for what I need, but would be nice if it were slightly larger. I own an Osprey Daylite sling, and was expecting it to be closer in size to that.

This is the first time I am writing a negative review on Amazon. This Northface sling bag is way smaller than expected. The side bottle bag won’t even fit a bottle and to top it off you have to sling it across your right shoulder where as my other sling bags sling over the left shoulder and come across on your right side. I would send it back but it would be such a hassle being that I’m not in the States right now. I guess I’ll just have to get used to using it on the other side but I feel it was a waste of money. Bah humbug !!!

I was so excited to order the Borealis sling bag. I love North Face products and this looked perfect for my upcoming trip. Unfortunately, it is just too tiny. We are talking dollhouse tiny. I knew from other reviews that the water bottle holder was too small and the cellphone pocket in the shoulder strap was tight, but my small iPhone 12 doesn’t fit. So, out of the gate, two pockets are useless. I was okay with that. I wanted something small, but this is insanely small! The zippered mesh pocket inside is also tiny and doesn’t go the full length of the bag. The only full length pocket is against your back. Even though it’s padded, anything that I would want to put in there is going to bother my back on a hike or day trip. The ONLY compartment that I like is the roomy, fuzzy side pocket! That’s not a good enough reason to keep it. Definitely not worth $59. It has to be returned!
