I wanted some high density foam tape vs the lighter weight ,more porous foam and this is it. It's hard to tell purchasing online If the foam is high density or not,even if it says in the description. So yes,this is definitely high density and seals very very well . I used it for under and around a window AC unit. It compressed nicely and formed a great seal. The adhesive side is good quality also and stayed attached while I installed it. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it over the regular lighter weight foam tape. 4.8 stars

This foam is definitely a much higher density than the stuff that comes with the window A/C units. This is a very spongy, solid feeling, weatherstrip type sealing foam with adhesive on the back for adhering it to the window casing. The adhesive is good quality as well as the foam, and I found it to stick very securely wherever it was put with little effort required to install. I believe this works better than any of the other weatherstrip I have ever tried using, and I think it is an excellent product. 5 Stars

worst product ever purchased on amazon - advertised as 2" wide by 1" thick - packaged and compressed so much it would not expand to more than 1/2" thick and that was only for about 18 inces - remainder only expanded to approx 1/4 inch thick - also not 6.5 ft long as advertised - several inches shorter - NEVER buy from this seller

These have been absolute life saver in this hot summer. It’s been a mess figuring out what air conditioner to set up where so we’ve been moving stuff around quite often and have been having to change the insulation strip a bit. This insulation strip is even better than what was provided with the air conditioning units. The adhesive was much more sticky and immediately folded into where it was needed and instantly trapped any heat and air out. You can stretch the material a bit as applying as I’ve found this to be extremely durable. Overall the insulation strip is very impressive and will get the job done should you have an unfortunate struggle with insulating.

Good to fold in open areas under ac, but does leave some gaps when placed across the entire bottom. Ants got around it because the compressibility lead to the entire thing being flattened, even where it should have contoured upwards. Otherwise great, good under a window sill. Wish it was more solid foam though, as I can sometimes feel air through the edges.
