I looked this over before wrapping it as a gift and these seem like good stories, very similar to chicken soup. The main difference seems to be that these are geared to those who are Catholic.

Purchased as a gift for my daughter who suffered the loss of ther 22 year old son. I expect it to be helpful to her.

My husband bought this book for me for my birthday this year & I am so pleased with it. There are so many wonderful stories for mothers packed into this book. I've laughed (out loud at times) & cried. I've been inspired by many of these stories to grow stronger in my faith & to work harder (w/ God's help) to become a better mother to my own children. I even had a little "God-incidence" while reading one of the stories. Just a few days prior to reading it, a local Catholic radio host was interviewing a priest about a book he'd just had published. I was intrigued. Then, I came across one of the stories in this book written by that priest's mother about all the trials they'd had during his teen years.

This has got to be one of the best books written for mothers, especially catholic moms! Even the Christian mom can relate to this book. I have read all the Amazing Grace Series, and this is one I pass on to all my friends. I read the whole book within a few days, you just cant put it down. When you get to the humorous section, I suggest reading one chapter a day for a pick me up, it will give you exactly what you need. I highly recommend this book and all the other Amazing Grace books as well.

This is a great book for busy moms. Each story is 2 to 3 pages long which makes it perfect for short breaks that you may have during the day. Savor the book over several days or weeks. The stories are heart warming and will resonate with all moms--young and old alike.

Like all of the "Amazing Grace" books, an inspiring read. Have passed the book on to others and they also found the book touching and uplifting.
