Assuming you mean around the horizontal axis, yes. The black knob under the gold collar towards the top of the vise allows you to loosen and rotate 360* around the horizontal axis.

What's the largest hook you can tie on with this vise? I tie up to a 5/0

This vise will work with 2/0 down to 24 as is. There are bigger vise jaws available separately that can handle hooks larger than 2/0.

I just received mine. The brass vise body has some nasty "teeth marks" in it (from a wrench?). Did yours?

Mine wise was fine, no marks or anything nasty.. I like this vise.. it is solid and smooth. Good choice for the money.

Just great

I had purchased another vice (a well known make) a third of the price of this. It was no good kept on slipping, so after two months of frustrating use, decided to buy this vice. It is first class, no problems at all. My only regret is the money I have wasted on the other vice.I would recommend this product to anyone. Simple to use and works every time. Leaving me to concentrate on the fly.
