I have low iron which has been causing hair loss for me. My dermatologist recommended I take it for 3 months and then we’ll recheck it. I currently take 3 tablets a day although the label recommends 1. It doesn’t taste/smell bad or make me feel nauseous. It is a little constipating but not as much as others I’ve taken over the years. I’ve just increased my fiber intake which is regulating my system. It’s great quality. Pills are on the smaller side and easy to swallow.

Package arrived on time and undamaged via USPS.It’s a decent price for the amount one gets; it is much more at other places like CVS, and even beats BJs and Sam’s Club in amount value/price. My physician put me on Fe p̄ gastric bypass, secondary to anemia in 1999. Since I also take a daily laxative because of other meds, it equals out. Lol! Nothing worse than “being full of it”! 😁😏This medication does have a ‘slight’ “iron” odor to it, but it isn't overwhelming like some ferrous sulfate preparations. Overall, I'm happy c̄ my choice - because p̄ done of my experiences with Fe in the past haven't been up to par. Thank you!

Just got out of hospital for broken hip and doctor prescribed ferrous sulphate. I came across this one.I am satisfied with this purchase. I like the addition of Vitamin C. Easy to swallow, not that big. No odor.I selected this one because it is made in USA!

Pills are a little big and hard to swallow but they do their job.

Very good iron tablet

The pills are really easy to swallow and got my iron level up to normal in just 2 weeks. I will continue taking them for a while until my red blood cell levels are stable. No stomach problems from these pills. A good value too.

The description on this thing says it's a coated tablet. I don't think that's accurate. There isn't a coating that I can detect. In fact, that's the one gripe I have with this product, that it has an immediate metallic flavor the instant it hits my mouth. And then the same after-taste that last for several minutes. That didn't happen with my prior iron supplement (which was definitely coated to prevent the bad taste). Anyway, I'm sure it performs fine as an iron supplement. I'll continue to use the rest of the bottle. But will probably look for a coated option next time.

Opted in for iron supplements instead of weekly infusions during pregnancy. Got the job done!! Super easy to swallow. Smell and taste was slightly metal-like but it is iron so that’s to be expected. Did not upset my stomach or cause any constipation but would recommend taking a stool softener just in case! So many pills for the money!
