At one time every household had a whetstone. We used ours to keep knives sharp (back then few knives were serrated). I purchased a fancy knife sharpener somewhere else that didn't come close to what I needed it to do. My garden secateurs desperately needed help. This product was less than half the price of the one I bought somewhere else and sharpened my garden tools beautifully. I'll be returning the other product to the big box store I bought it from for a refund.

Very nice product. Bigger than what I expected. My mom had a whetstone that was half this size and that's what I thought I would get! Love the silicone base. Works great!

Great size for all knives, the silicone base is very convenient and holds the stone in place. I was able to sharpen 3 knives very quickly, and giving them a very sharp edge.

works but you need skills to operate. My sone had me order it. and he was able to use it with no issues. me on the other hand was using it wrong and my son is still mocking me to this day over it.

Works as intended

Decent stone and gets wet pretty fast. Had some raised edges but scraped off easily. Managed to shave some hairs after some careful stropping.

Took some time to get used to it, but after a little practice it’s easy to use, and sharpens good for smaller knives, was able to now use my pocket knife a lot better
