Satya Sai Baba Incense Collection - 25 Boxes, 21 Different - All The Satya Varieties at One Time

I have been burning incense daily for nearly 20 years of my life now. Incense, to me, is one of the little luxuries of life I just don't enjoy doing without. Incense quality ranges from horrid to incredible for the value; and this collection of 25 boxes of Satya incense was an amazing value.If you're just starting out with incense or want to try a wide range of Indian incenses, this is a great set to start with. My favorite scents in the set were the Black Blossom, Tufan, and Satya's version of "Sandal / Sandalwood" incense - my wife enjoyed those as well as the traditional Super Hit incense and something called "Creamy Musk" - I must say that despite how long I've been burning incense; I didn't even know some of these Satya types existed. (Tufan, in particular, I loved - it's very unique and I plan on getting an entire box of just that scent.)The seller I used was Tom's Incense; excellent quality and shipping as always from this vendor. Incense can go "bad" or mildew if not properly stored and I have never had this problem with incense purchased through Tom's Incense Amazon storefront.All in all, great incense value from a great merchant. Some of the smells are a little floral for me which is the only thing preventing this from getting a full 5 stars. (I generally prefer spicy/musky scents.)

These only arrived today so this is really just a first impression of the incense.Firstly, they were all in one big box together, so when I opened the package it reeked like old lady perfume x10! This was only because all the scents were mixing together. I pulled out a few of the individual cartons and it wasn't so bad.Secondly, I have never bought decent incense before. Only the garbage you can buy at grocery stores. None of those scents ever lingered, and they all smelled the same. This stuff is way different! The smoke is thick and rich in aroma. The scents are all individual (except in the packaging all together). Definitely worth a shot.Thirdly, like I said, the smoke is thick... so thick that it left a smoke trail on the wall after only 30 seconds of burning! Granted, I have it on the mantle, which is not very deep so it's burning next to the wall. But, I would just like to recommend you burn them away from anything you don't want all smokey later.Overall, I think this was a good buy, and I look forward to trying out all of the scents in this box.

This variety pack allows you to sample quite a lot of Satya Sai Baba's offerings at a great price. Many of them are variations on floral-spice-musk, but there are distinct differences between them, and a few of them really stand out. You get just enough sticks per box to get a solid impression of each fragrance. There are two each of the ever-popular blue box nag champa and Super Hit varieties. There are also two of the Aastha, which is a wonderful spicy vanilla fragrance, and two of the Black Blossom, redolent of night bloomers which is now my favorite of Sai Baba's floral offerings. There are also two of a scent called Fantasy, a nice vanilla champa but not as friendly to my nose as the Aastha (your mileage may vary).The rest of the varieties have only one box to represent them. Among the single note scents, the Strawberry is a sweet and inoffensive incense to have burning during breakfast time, and the Rose is very relaxing in the evening. The Super Sandal has enough vanilla that I don't know if I'd really consider it single note. The other scents are more complex. The Creamy Musk is pleasantly perfumey, the Leeladhar is beautifully subtle, and the Tufan, I swear, smells just like Jean Nate. Although the others did not stand out as much to me, there is really not a dud in the box, I liked them all. Check it out for yourself, you're sure to find a favorite.

I was thinking I would get a lot of incense, but I had no idea it would be this many. I'm going to have to burn like two a day to use these before they lose their smell! I only took a few minutes to smell each box, but they've all been packaged together, and the smells are kind of blended right now. I burned one strawberry, and it smelled pretty good. I started sneezing, but I've had a little bit of an allergy issue for the last couple of days for some strange reason. They seem like a good quality product. I gave 4 stars instead of 5, because when I was in high school, I worked at a CD store, and we sold the most incredible smelling incense ever. I don't know what they were called, or how to find them, but those would be 5 star material. But you get like a bazillion of these things! I highly recommend for the price.

A friend's mother recently turned me on to incense and now I am hooked.I love to come home from a long day at work, light a stick and jump into a hot shower. By the time I come out of the bathroom the room smells like heaven and I am very relaxed.This collection is great for someone like me who has discovered they like incense, but is not really sure exactly which ones to buy. Eight or ten sticks of each is the perfect amount to sample and enjoy. Now I know which ones I would like to reorder.I have to say that I truly like every scent in this collection, there have been no disappointments.My favorites are...Fresh Rose - nice blend of roses and herbsCreamy Musk - smooth and musky with hints of vanillaIshana - flowery herbal sent that reminds me of chamomileRajdhani - sweet strong herbal scent that is intense yet relaxing - My absolute favorite.This Satya incense assortment and a coffin incense burner would make an excellent gift.As a follow-up I bought several boxes of HEM incense and it was hit or miss. For example Orange Blossom I loved, Cinnamon I hated, Pine and Spearmint were OK.
