This monitor is perhaps the best deal you’ll be able to find. While the 1080p resolution is a bit low in 2019, all other aspects of this monitor make it a steal. It’s 2-3x brighter than comparable displays and as color accurate as displays costing twice as much. The matte coating on the screen helps with reflections but is not overwhelming; the coating does not impact the image quality. The stand seems to be made of aluminum, and the monitor is impressively slim in all dimensions, resembling an iMac. I also really like that the menu buttons are actual physical buttons.However, the only adjustability this monitor offers is tilt. Additionally, this monitor only has two HDMI inputs, so the port selection is a bit scarce. At this price point, however, these two weak points are easy to ignore.I would absolutely recommend this monitor to everyone except serious gamers. It’s perhaps the best looking monitor on the market and offers an incredibly bright, accurate image. However, if you’re looking for a very flexible display with lots of adjustment and ports, this isn’t the monitor for you. But you’ll need to spend significantly more to get a display that looks as good as this one.

Typical Dell monitor with Mac looks. Very bright and HDR works but it's not the best nor supported by Mac or most features of Windows. Accurate colors. I was looking for a 24 inch and this was on a deal so gave it a shot. The first monitor was defective and had a dead pixel but Ascendtech replaced it right away. Backlight bleed is typical as it's an IPS display. Very thin bezels and overall minimalistic construction. Even though the 24 inch is just full HD, it supports upto 4k inputs and 75hz which is nice. Disabling dynamic contrast makes the picture clearer especially for videos. Overall can't beat this monitor in the 24 inch IPS display category in terms of quality and value. Next they need to start making Alienware monitors with IPS technology or even better if they go with Micro LED.

Got a great deal on this monitor. Purchased it to use as a secondary display for my Alienware 17. Picture quality is passable, but I expected a little better for the retail price. Also would have liked DisplayPort connectivity.Negatives aside, I think the monitor's main feature is its appearance. It has almost nothing for bezels and is very good-looking as well as very well-built.Overall, very happy with this monitor for the price I paid, but were I to pay retail price I would at least expect better picture quality.

I needed a new monitor for my mac mini. Read reviews, gave this one a shot. Super bright picture that is easy on the yes, esp as our PC is in a really bright room. The only downside are a lack of USB ports to plug into, but that is solved by adding a usb hub to the mac. No vertical adjustments weren't an issue for us but they might be for others.Had issues with the monitor flickering with OS X Catalina and this monitor. After moving to MS Edge cs Chrome, the issue went away.9/4/20: Monitor turned off this morning. I contacted Dell, they said the warranty expired but Amazon could send the warranty info over. In the end I just did a refund. If you buy one of these please check the warranty with Dell immediately. Apparently there is a problem with buying from non Dell auth sites.

I was using this monitor as a second monitor for my Mac work computer. After using it for 2 days, the backlight gave out and no longer works.Very frustrated with this inconvenience. And I know the backlight is dead, I'm a software engineer...

I bought it because it could do 500 nits of brightness, and it does. Unfortunately, it has a problem with pixels or something and there are lines which appear red or black, and mar the display. It's useful as a second monitor, I think, but ultimately disappointing, I expected more of Dell.

One of the products came with image problems, we could not return it due to technical problems. The company was responsible at all times. We consider that you should test before you sell.

Overall its a great monitor at a good price. I would like it to have a higher resolution but it works great. Only downside is that the high is not adjustable, just to call out something but it was exactly what I was looking for.
