Hands down best kick scooter for the money!!!
I highly recommend the Fusion Cityglide as it's an extremely inexpensive, highly convenient and fun way to quickly get from point A to point B (or B to C or C to D or simply just to "glide" around aimlessly for fun/exercise/recreation as well!!!) There's so much that it has going from it from it's sturdy construction to it's sleek styling but mostly it's a super fun and easy way to transport yourself around your neighborhood/town/city/campus etc. and this is coming from a 43 y/o male and never thought a simple child like scooter would be such a revelation but the large 205 mm wheels and super fast abec 9 bearing make this scooter a quantum leap beyond the typical Razor (and is less expensive and i/m/o has better asthetics then their competing A5 model though in fairness I have never ridden one or contemplated buying one as I just don't like the it's clunky looks as well as being roughly $20 - $40 more) with tiny wheels in terms of speed/stability/utility etc. Bottom line for roughly the same cost of an pair of sneakers and FAR less then even the least expensive, low quality bicycle you'll have an awesomely fun form of transportation for which you don't have to worry about locking up/getting stolen/carrying up stairs/maintaining etc) that you can take just about about anywhere (by way of it's easy to use fold up mechanism as well as retractable telescoping handlebars allowing you to effortlessly carry it around like a briefcase as it weighs not even 10 lbs!) The one dramback it that it says the max weight it can accommodate is 165 so unfortunately many adults (and bigger teens also) will be to heavy for this product but if you're not or are thinking of getting this as a gift it should go without saying after reading this far that you should definitely consider getting the Cityglide because it's freakin AWESOME (yes I'm 43 don't remind me :P)

but it folds up nice, easy to carry
The weight limit is a bit harsh for any adult male, but it folds up nice, easy to carry, rolls smooth. The wheels are great. They don't get hung up or stop you on a dime. Nice little scooter. I ride from a remote parking spot to my office on city streets, about 1 mile.

Love these Adult/Big-kid sized scooters!
I bought my 11-year old one of these for Christmas. Everyone in the neighborhood fought over who gets to ride this baby. It is comfortable and you can go over many different types of terrain in it. So I decided to by a second one for me which is 1000 times more comfortable than razor and at a lower cost! The only downside is the cheap screws it comes with--it is better to go to your hardware store to replace most of the hardware if you want it to last and be tougher.

Love it - Then NOT after the break breaks.
I love the big wheel. It makes the ride much smoother on city streets. Good construction and good quality. Definitely recommended.Update:I use my scooter infrequently. Like less than 30 times a year. Everything else is still in good shape except the break fall apart. The joint where the break is attached to the body is broken, see picture. With no way to access it, there doesn't seem a way to replace the break. Thus, this is now a piece of junk.

Looks like a Razor A5 but falls very short
I bought this at the same time as the Razor A5 so our two boys would each have a different scooter. We found a big difference in quality. This ends up being a clunkier, less refined, less sturdy, harder to set up version, even if it worked correctly. The folding lock mechanism works, but requires unfolding a clamp, adjusting a thumbscrew, then pulling up a slide. Razor just has a slide.Razor has a kickstand. This doesn't.As it turned out, right out of the box, the wheels didn't run true, and scraped hard against a plastic block they have installed as a spoke safety guard. I would have had to remove those safety guards to get the wheels spinning freely. Checked the Razor's wheels, and you guessed it, the wheels run true. And for you Dads, the weight limit on this is 165, vs. 220 for the Razor A5.If you see this side by side with the Razor A5, every kid (and every adult) would pick the Razor. Amazon makes the return easy so now we have two Razors!

it's okay.
it's quite strong and hard. but hard to slow down and the tires are too hard to ride on a block covered load.

Absolutely Great Scooter!
Although the folding mechnism has taken a bit of getting used to, plus the 10 to 15 seconds to fold or unfold the scooter, I must say that this item met my expectations. It glides well, is controllable, and comfortable, even on rickety sidewalks. I have been advised by my doctor to try and exercise my damaged knee, and this scooter really does help in providing light therapy. Just fix the folding mechnism, and this scooter is perfect!

My kids won't get off of them!!! (Dad too)
I got two for my kids 11 and 10 to go along with mine. They had stopped riding their Razors because "they aren't fun to ride any more" I was tired of camping and finding mine gone when I wanted to glide over to the restrooms or to a shower. Smooth, Fast, Fun, come on just what you want in a scooter. I have the first generation and the kids the second gens. They have made minor changes that I didn't even think needed to be changed to make them even better (the folding and storage ability) I love them even more. Just do it but buy enough for the entire family - just warning you ahead of time

Very disappointed.
I worked hard to make this work but in the end returned it (extremely rare that I ever return anything). The problem was that neither wheel ran completely true and the front wheel caught on the frame meaning it did not freely run and the rear wheel caught badly enough that it made a lot of noise and somewhat slowed up the scooter. I tried hard to adjust the wheels to no avail. It would run for a bit, then jam. Fundamentally it is mechanically badly designed. The alignment of the wheel in not exact and depends on a locking nut. The frame appears to be a relatively crude aluminium moulding. It was awkward to put together and needed 2 sizes of alum key, but only one provided. Without the wheel jam it was an ok scooter, except that the folding mechanism was again awkward to use. I instead ordered the vastly superior HUDORA RX 205, which is beautifully designed and very well engineered.

the fold mechanism is a joke and the scooter I received doesn't look like the picture
If you are looking for a poorly made scooter that is over priced, this is for you. The back wheel on the particular scooter I received keeps sticking during use, the fold mechanism is a joke and the scooter I received doesn't look like the picture. I am currently trying to return it to amazon, would recommend you don't buy this product.

Bad just bad!
Really bad. As the others have said, the wheels kept sticking which slowed the scooter down. The brake is really noisy, the front wheel wasn't in line with the handlebars, the folding mechanism was awful and the whole wrong alum key situation is laughable. On the plus side I got a quick refund and am now gonna try the Hodura rx.

Only one weakness
My young adult son's red Razor A5 Lux had a broken wheel. Since I had already glued the upright post to stop it from twisting, I did not want him to just buy a new wheel. In this price range, for a scooter used for city transportation, not tricks, the Fusion Cityglide seemed like a good option as long as it didn't have the same problem of the post working loose. So far, so good on that front. The handle height is adjustable for a full-sized adult. Folding mechanism, no problems. Comfortable sponge handgrips. Handles do not fold, so more stable. No disadvantage carrying folded on public transportation. However, the brake spring is much weaker than on the Razor A5 so the fender feels loose. You can't rest your pushing foot on the fender even lightly without it braking. My son dismantled the mechanism and replaced it with the Razor fender and spring. the parts were compatible. He is now very happy with it after a month of almost daily use.The colour scheme was also part of the appeal for him. The new model of the A5 has too much all over colour.
