American Aldes AIRLET 100 Rectangular Self-Regulating Filtered Fresh Air Inlet with 8" to 12" telescoping sleeve. The AIRLET 100's rectangular design and horizontal lines of its interior and exterior grilles make it unobtrusive in most decors. AIRLET 100's may be installed before or after the interior and exterior surfaces have been applied. Sleeve telescopes 8" to 12" to accommodate different wall thicknesses. A rough opening of 1-3/4" x 11" is required. Exterior and interior grilles are made of white plastic. The interior grille, which incorporates a flow-regulating damper, deflects a thin ribbon of fresh air upwards. In this manner, the AIRLET 100 provides draft-free fresh air that quickly mixes with warmer air near the ceiling. A filter is provided in the sleeve, and it may be accessed for cleaning by removing the screws on the interior grille. The AIRLET 100 requires no manual controls.
