Why did you choose this product over others?: After officially play-testing the Arctis Nova Pro for over 300 hours, I can confidently say this is one of the best headsets I’ve ever used. The comfort is absolutely unmatched—thanks to the over-ear design and soft cushioning, I can wear them for long gaming sessions without any soreness or discomfort. Whether it’s a quick 30-minute play or an all-night session, these headphones stay comfortable throughout. One standout feature is the removable dual-battery system. It’s brilliantly designed—while you’re using one battery, the other charges in the base station. I’ve never run out of power mid-game, which is a huge bonus. The GG Control Panel app is another excellent addition. It integrates seamlessly with your PC and offers a wide range of sound presets tailored for different games and activities. Whether you’re trying to pick up footsteps in Call of Duty or blasting some drum and bass to unwind, this headset handles it all effortlessly. The audio versatility is incredible. Build quality is solid and premium—everything feels robust and well-engineered. I was so impressed, I even bought another set for a family member. One small tip: when powering them on for the first time, be aware of the volume restriction setting (required by EU regulations). If left enabled, it might limit your ability to fully enjoy some of the more powerful sound presets. I’m not advising whether to enable or disable it—that choice is entirely yours—but just offering honest feedback based on my experience. Overall, highly recommended. If you’re serious about sound quality, comfort, and reliability, the Arctis Nova Pro is absolutely worth it. Design: The build quality is unmatched

Sound is superb and with the 2 batteries you never lose power as one is always on charge, easy to change batteries, the dock has a lot of features including a footsteps sound mode for games like cod, extremely comfortable on ,very soft leather you can wear them for hours no problem at all, the mic is very good and its handy it pushes up into headphones when not in use,I dont have any negatives to say about these, a bit pricey yes but we'll built and feel premium

I previously had wired headphones, but these are perfect for nipping downstairs to grab a drink while still chatting to friends on Discord. The wireless freedom is a game changer, and the connection stays solid with no dropouts. They’re super comfortable, the hot-swap batteries are brilliant (never worrying about charging mid-session is amazing), and the active noise cancellation works really well. Overall build quality feels premium and exactly what you’d expect at this level. It is worth remembering that with wireless you do lose some audio and mic quality. While the device shows 48kHz / 24-bit, in practice you’re getting more “DVD quality” audio rather than true studio quality. That said, for gaming and voice chat, it’s absolutely fine and more than good enough. Overall, I’m super happy with them. Excellent headset if you value comfort, convenience, and flexibility—just go in knowing the limits of wireless audio.

Excellent headsets and easy to use with the Steelseries GG software. The volume control and the DAC unit with the spare battery in, is absolute genius and clearly built with gamers in mind. The headphones are comfortable, but are on the heavy side so prolonged use is noticeable. Switching between inputs is a breeze and more peripherals should be built like these. The sound stage is good and clear so hearing footsteps and other subtleties in games is no problem. I have deducted on star as the OLED screen on my GameDAC has suffered from burn-in. OLED seems a very strange choice for something that is likley to be on all the time. You can turn off the screen, but I'm surprised that if you do not opt for the screen off option there isn't a pixel shift or a setting that can refresh the pixels. (I appreciate both these features would lead to an increased price.) That being said I can still use the Game DAC and it doesn't affect the operation of the headphones, just is a minor annoyance when ever I notice it.

I've had this headset almost six months now, and here's how I feel about it: When it works, it's great. The active noise cancelling is a great feature, the sound quality is good, the wireless hasn't got amazing range but it's plenty for wandering around a bit, the mic is decent quality (even if it did ought to be just a bit longer). ...but then there are the bugs. Then there are the instances where the headset will just stop working. Literally, it just disconnects from the base station while you're watching a video or playing a game, low battery or not. Or there's the time it wouldn't connect to the base station. For no apparent reason. I had to perform a reset on the base station, and then I had to look up how to re-pair the headset with it. It feels like such a waste honestly. There's great technology here, but some really odd design choices, or flaws that ruin the whole product. I can't rate it higher than a 2/5. Edit: I now have a reoccurring issue where the headset will occasionally just glitch out, disconnect from the base station and play a weird noise until you turn it off and on again. Sorry, but these constant problems dial this 2/5 down to a 1/5. This headset has all the features of a great product, but the problems are so dire and frequent I'd just say it's a product to be completely avoided. It's not worth wasting your time, money and effort on. What a disappointment. Update: About a year after purchase now, and I'm still experiencing frequent problems with just random, unannounced disconnects. Halfway through a movie? Disconnected. Have fun with that, courtesy of steelseries, screw you if you wanted to enjoy what you were listening to. In the middle of a game? Disconnected. Maybe this time around it won't even reconnect without you yanking the battery out. Good luck trying to do that without messing up your game, best regards from steelseries. It don’t get much better than a steelseries headphones. Nice and heavy with the big battery and aluminium bits but sits on the head very comfortably. I find myself forgetting that they’re on my head after a few minutes. So convenient with the little mixer which also works as a charger for the other battery. Very nice

IF YOU HAVE A ARCTIS PRO WIRELESS READ THIS. The comfort is okay maybe better than the arctis at top of the head however around the ears it's a major shortfall. I find the button layout worse than the arctis pro wireless too. The biggest issue with this headset is the fact that you HAVE TO use sonar to acces features such as chat mix which were previously hardware controlled and this is a massive shortfall for me. Sound: The speakers crackle at louder volumes and become very harsh 85%+ I notice this mainly when listening to music or playing shooters with explosions. The gunshots sound piercing and hurt the ears at said volumes too they are just too harsh sounding. The bass is lacking big time there's no real rumble to this headset. I'd like to state I have a wired kraken headset which double this volume output but doesn't hurt my ears like this does. The directional/spatial audio works quite well just like the arctis pro wireless and the audio is the same signature quite clear and you can pick out different noises at lower volumes 80%- & below Go for a 50mm driver headset if you want a bigger base response and louder clearer audio. Mic: The mic will fit flush to the headset however I use the pop filter so this makes it retract & sit same as the arctis pro wireless. The mic again to get best quality and good background noise reduction requires sonar which is a NEGATIVE. The arctis pro wireless is great out of the box. Build quality: It doesn't feel nowhere near as robust as the arctis pro wireless which I had for 5 years and is still working fine. The headband feels stiffer and longer lasting Vs the arctis but I never found it a issue on the arctis as it can always be adjusted and tightened if it stretched a bit. Battery: The best thing about the headset is the battery life compared to the previous gen, it is much better maybe 2x better HOWEVER mine gets stuck in the control box/DAC and doesnt always fit in correctly which has marked the battery on the outside and hopefully not damaged the cells. DAC/ control box: Looks a lot nicer than previous gen however, functionality of that big wheel doesn't feel as simplified as the previous gen and required extra actions to get the same result. Personal preference but I preferred the physical back button on the old DAC. Physically though it looks cleaner and nicer, again my opinion.

With a price tag of £320 (luckily I caught on a prime day deal for £240) I expected ALOT from this headset and to my surprise it has exceeded my expectations not only in terms of quality but also with the accompanying software. That said, the microphone may be sub-par in some peoples opinion especially if you’re used to using a separate microphone like myself. From the brief testing I done with some friends on Discord the microphone is adequate but nothing special. As said previously, the accompanying software, Steelseries GG, is brilliant for tuning the headset to suit your needs and allows you to split different applications into different tuning categories such as Spotify into the Aux category whilst CS2 being separated into the gaming category with different tuning settings which I used to enhance footsteps etc. There is also the ability to audio level mix which, for those that don’t know, means you can change the music level to game level to the perfect setting tailored to you. The software also offers a lot of other features that some may use and other may not but overall, though cluttered with extra functions, is a great bit of software. Another feature I was very happy with was the charging system. In comparison to my previous headset (HyperX cloud 3 wireless) this one doesn’t have as long battery life though this is offset but provision of 2 batteries meaning you can charge one whilst the other is in the headset and has a pretty seamless transition when changing batteries mid game. The batteries are charged within the mix/audio dock that also functions as the wireless connect to the headset so I’d suggest trying to keep it within line of site of the headset when possible just to help guarantee connection though I’ve worn the headset on the opposite side of my house a number of times without any issues. I could go on all day about how excellent this unit has been for me but don’t have the patience to continue this already started essay :) In summary: if you can afford it, get it. If you can’t, wait for a deal. It’s been worth every penny
