Pricey but worth it
Pro's - great build quality, sleek design, smooth quiet operation, air filtration, remote control, night light, 12 speeds, temperature sensor and display.Con's - Remote sensor on fan has limited range of reception.Living in the South West we usually have 100 days of consecutive 100+ temperatures. Running A/C all the time gets expensive so having room fans to move the cool air around helps the A/C units not run so often. I've had numerous $20 cheap tower fans over the years and have only found one that moved enough air to make a real difference. It was loud, ugly, and cheaply made but it worked well. It died so I figured it was time for an upgrade. I've had many Lasko products and have had good luck with them. After doing some research on tower fans that have powerful CFM ratings I chose this one.I was initially turned off by the nearly $100 price tag but took a chance on it and was pleasantly surprised. It's a quality unit with lots of features. On the highest setting of 12 the noise is lower than my old fan on the low setting. It's just enough white noise to help me sleep but not too loud. At night I use it on the speed setting of 6 which gives a gentle consistent breeze at a low decibel level. The night light at the bottom of the fan reminds you it's there so you don't kick it when getting up in the middle of the night. My only complaint is that the fan has to be pointing directly at you for the remote to work. I don't use the oscillation feature so this isn't an issue for me, but it you do have it oscillating you'll have to time your inputs with the remote control.Bottom line is that it's a really nice tower fan with lots of usable features. It's powerful and quiet. I recommend.

Life is a breeze!
This fan is great. The features are wonderful and having remote is a plus if your disabled like me. The timer is also a plus! It's sleek and modern in appearance and it doesn't make a sound. This is a great purchase!

Tower fans. Good buy. Works great.
Good room fan. Not very noisy even on high. Space saving. Oscillating feature and tall design circulates air around perfect. The remote is good feature. The air filter feature is a plus. When little box fans that dont do alot aren't cheap anymore, this is a good buy.

It is more on the quiet side. Not loud like a box fan.
This fan is amazing! It has different settings to choose from. The highest speed setting is six, and it has a lot of push behind it, even with the filter in place. Honestly I wasn’t expecting the amount of breeze I get! Very impressed. It is a lot quieter that I also thought it was going to be, but I still love it!!

Tower of Junk
I usually write only positive reviews but feel I have to warn others before they spend money on this garbage. I received and assembled this 3 days ago. In that time period it has been between 5 and 10 degrees BELOW the normal temperature here, and using this fan rather than my no-name falling-apart one, it is 3 degrees HOTTER in the room. What I hate about it: it has a huge LED temperature display on top of the unit. Including symbols, it is 3.5 cm wide and tall. This lights up the entire room but can be turned off at night if set on "night mode."? This is supposed to be quiet with a lower fan setting, that is virtually no fan at all.-- any button on the remote has to be pressed at least 3 times before anything will activate on the fan. And my fan is approximately 6 feet from my body. It should not be out of range.-- the idiotic base. The base arrives in 2 pieces which attach together, then attach on the bottom of the unit, sliding to "lock" in place. Except if the fan is rotated to move it at all, this "locked in place" base falls off. This was such a stupid design, I was careful to make sure the bottom did actually lock. It makes no difference whether it's locked or put on haphazardly. The bottom is a flimsy piece of garbage that hardly holds up the fan.-- when set to oscillate, it makes an awful, jarring rumbly noise. I don't use it on this setting because of this, but I would love to know how long the fan would actually last if left on this setting.-- the air movement with this fan on high is about equivalent to one of those personal fans that are worn around the neck. Do not expect your papers to blow across the room. The edges will lift a bit, but your work will stay right where you need it. Low setting is pretty much like having your toddler blow on you from a meter away. Please ignore any write-up and promotional material that appear with this fan. It does not apply to this model. It's copy and pasted from another line.I really want to smash this so-called fan with a dumbbell, but will attempt to send it back instead. If return is refused, I will be smashing it and posting the video. I hate this fan more than anything I have ever purchased.

Lasko Oscillating Tower Fan with Quite Mode, Timer and Remote
Will only buy Lasko Fans because I trust the Brand. Once again completely satisfied with this newer model after my long-standing Lasko fan finally stopped working after many years of use. The amount of use you get out of these fands for the price you pay is well worth the investment. They last a long time. This model comes with even more features than before which makes it all the more enjoyable. The height is perfect, so the air hits you just at the right level. The fan runs whisper quiet. I personally am happy at the 2-3 setting on oscillating mode that helps circulate the air in the room. I set it on the timer for a couple of hours when it's time to sleep and the gentle breeze creates the perfect environment to help me fall into a deep slumber.

Loud and noisy
I really wanted a tower fan for the bedroom. This blows nice cool air, however, it is too noisy, on the regular setting and in the night mode it starts out on level 3 and by the middle of the night it’s down to level 1 with it barely blowing air. When it has the filter in it, it makes a weird squeaky noise. Without the filter it’s just loud. I have on old box fan that is quieter than this one.
