MetamucilFiber Thins, Psyllium Husk Fiber Supplement, Digestive Health Support and Satisfy Hunger, Chocolate Flavored, 12 Servings

These biscuits basically contain the metamucil fiber which normally people used as powder dissolved in water as an after meal supplement. Since I love the flavor of dark chocolate I find these to be flavorful way of getting additional fiber to help support good digestion, particularly when I am consuming harder to digest meals with high content of meats and heavy sauces. Each serving of 2 wafers contains 5g of fiber which is sort of minimal but it does help, and it alleviates the boredom of having to take yet another fiber capsule or a not so delicious drink with dissolved fiber powder. I also eat these as snacks during the day between meals instead of reaching for the jar of cookies. Price points wise they are not cheap compared to getting the powder and there are no larger packs available for a more economical price. Manufacturer should consider this and offer better prices for higher quantities. Overall a very good product, also available in other flavors (apple, cinnamon spice).

My family are long time Metamucil users. My husband uses it to control IBS, I cannot tolerate statins and use it to help control cholesterol. I have used the wafer version for years, chiefly preferring it for it's portability. Normally, cost dictates flavor. If Apple Crisp is cheaper, I buy Apple, if there's a better deal on Cinnamon, Cinnamon it is. I was so excited to see the new chocolate flavor that I parted w $10 for the privilege of trying it. The Chocolate is Fabulous. It find it similar to the Oreo cookie without the cream filling, The texture is smooth, not at all gritty. My Dr recommends leaving a 2 hr window on either side of taking medication so this is my 'brunch' snack. My daughter in law has an early morning start so it's her breakfast. There has been a $1 coupon off initial purchase and the price has been $7.44 consistently which is pretty much the going rate. So, good product and good value on Amazon.

[All right carb watchers, I get that this product can throw you off..Don't read on..]I fell out of my chair when I saw that there was a new flavor. I immediately clipped the coupon and bought one box to try.Amazing! No more heavy chewing with a "lump" in your mouth after 20 seconds (will this gulp of water get this lump down? - hurry!)These new "fiber thins" "chew easier". It's like eating an Oreo cookie. It's that awesome. A little icing in between the wafers and grandma will think she is getting a treat.This is a breakthrough product. As soon as I opened the box - I ignored all other flavors. I can't wait for the supply to meet demand (and price comes down).Had to knock off a star - these "thins" are much more delicate than their predecessors. I am talking crumbs here. If you drop the pouch or put it in your pocket or purse, expect thousands of crumbs -- although thay makes them perfect for topping ice cream or yogurt (seriously) but not if you have to be neat.The late, great John Glenn (Senator, Medal of Freedom winner, Korean Conflict veteran, and two time astronaut) was quoted as saying in 1998: "I won't go without my Metamucil bars" before he launched into space aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery (STS-95). Came very broken. I like the spice much better. Chocolate is ok. But pieces harder to eat

These cookies have been keeping me free of my decades old problem of constipation. I highly recommend these to anybody who suffers from this problem. I simply eat them about 10 PM nightly and they work very good the next morning. They costs under $10 at Walmart.

Easier to use than mixing Metamucil with water as a drink. Great for travel
