I wanted to find something to replace petroleum jelly and this stuff works great! I use it in my face around my lips and eyes under Tretinoin and my skin doesn’t peel at all! I started using it on my lips also.

Love that it is natural ingredients. Helped with dry skin and nails. A little goes a long way. Something else I liked is that it is hand made and women owed business. The perfect alternative to petroleum jelly.

This product is probably great, but the packaging is not. It arrived with the screw top loose and product all over the inside of the shipping box.

I have long used vaseline jelly to take off my eye makeup so I was excited to try this instead. The consistency reminds me somewhat of coconut oil - it is solid but melts easily and can separate easily too. It is a little messier than vaseline which is my biggest drawback to it completely replacing my petroleum jelly use. It is moisturizing and did an okay job taking off my eye makeup. I will say when it arrived it had kind of leaked all over the jar and the box it came in. It was pretty toasty outside (upper 90s) and I didn't bring it in immediately. I think that it would've likely melted regardless with the high temps recently, but it is just something to be aware of. You might find that it gets messy if it is left in the sun. It is moisturizing and leaves your skin soft. Overall a good alternative to petroleum jelly - just a little messier.

I’ve used it for various things in the past, but I’ve never been entirely comfortable with using petroleum jelly on my body. This is especially true of applying it to my face. I ordered Beeseline Original because it offered itself as a natural alternative to petroleum jelly. I read through the list of ingredients, it sounded impressive, these were all things that were not only safe, but also nourishing for my skin. I really hoped it would prove to be a viable alternative.My order arrived mid-afternoon on a very hot day, the temperature was already in the mid-90s. I want to advise anyone who orders this to closely monitor its arrival and bring it in ASAP when it’s delivered. I brought it in just moments after it was dropped off. Perhaps this was a result of being hot during transit, but my product was doing its best to escape its enclosure. Some had melted and seeped out the top, causing the seal to just slide off when I touched it. It hadn’t melted through and through, just a little at the top, but it was a mess. Fortunately, the packing kept it contained. It was in a sealed plastic bubble bag, which was then placed in another sealed bubble bag, which was then placed in a mailing bag. I cleaned it up and let it cool off and solidify before using.At first glance it looks similar to petroleum jelly, but I found it to be far superior. It didn’t have an objectionable smell like its petroleum counterpart, in fact I didn’t really notice a fragrance at all. I used some on my lips; there wasn’t an unpleasant taste either. It felt moist and nourishing to my lips, I really liked it. I also used it to moisturize inside my nose, it worked great for that too. I tried it on my hands and arms. The product is described as having no sticky or greasy feeling. I didn’t find that to be entirely true. There’s a slight stickiness and oily feel to it, but considerably less than petroleum jelly. It absorbs better too, however I was still aware of it on my skin. As with other moisturizing products like lotions or balms, you couldn’t use this then use a touch-screen device without leaving some serious fingerprints.I was quite impressed with this product. I’m entirely comfortable using it around my nose and mouth. I’ve used coconut oil to remove costume make-up before. I believe this will do just as well removing that Grim Reaper or Haunted Pumpkin face and nourish my face while doing so. I believe it would also be great for use as a moisture barrier on babies. I truly wish I’d had this when my dog had a dry, cracked nose and paw pads. I wouldn’t have hesitated to use this on her, but I was reluctant to apply petroleum jelly or medication. This product is a great natural alternative that will be quite helpful in our home. I’m happy with this order.****About me: Integrity is very important to me.
