**Standalone novel**Mirror, mirror ... who's the fairest of them all?I still cringe when I hear that line. A fairy tale that had girls pretending they were the fairest, the most beautiful, and the most entitled. A fairy tale most couldn't grow out of turned my haunted childhood memories into a living nightmare. Girls who grew up believing that pile of garbage became the meanest of all 'mean girls.'And those mean girls were right - it was a line meant for all the beautiful people in the world - and I knew the answer would never be me.The women with long legs, flat stomachs, and perfect chests. The type of women Kane Masters gravitated toward.Well, that's definitely not Willow Tate.No. That will never be me.Because I'm completely imperfect. And ... I hate myself.I have no idea what Kane could possibly see in someone like me when he could have them. Review: Beautiful, heartfelt story. - What a truly inspirational, emotional, motivational story of which I'm sure everyone who reads this will relate at one point or another. Absolutely loved Kane, smooth talking but honest man who went after the girl and conquered both their fears. Willow, is one ballsy, strong secy lady who conquered the world. I loved that we got such a sincere book about real life. The treatment, Willow received at the hands of those who were supposed to love her, was diabolical she had two great friends in Eddie and Kirby (who I like to think that my name inspired her smile emoticon ) Willow's ex, sister and step father were the most dreadful excuses for human beings and got everything they deserved. The girls' night in were hilarious, and I am glad that Kane also joined in. Wow, the shocker of Mia's babys parentage, once revealed although there were little clues, which I had missed! I just loved how Willow's confidence grew, she really blossomed into a truly caring lady, happy to stick up for anyone she felt needed it. Kane could have handled some situations differently, but then that would not have made it the epic story it is. Great page turner with a great storyline. This book gave me all the 'feels' whilst reading. This is one amazing book. Review: A good read - When I picked up this book, I knew it was something completely different to what I'm used to but I wanted to read it because it has had a lot of press and I wanted to see what it was all about for myself. Willow is a young woman who clearly has a lot of issues in terms of her confidence and body. She believes she's fat, tries to hide herself away from the world and has struggled through a lifetime of verbal abuse from her stepfather and stepsister. She has two great friends, Kirby and Eddie, who stand by her side and crusade together to help Willow understand just how beautiful she is throughout. It's not until she meets Kane Masters, most eligible bachelor and mega movie star, that she begins to finally realise her self worth. Willow's journey is one that many young women may relate to in some way and I think for that reason, it is a great read. Willow's confidence only grows throughout the book and it's brilliant to see the confident woman she becomes at the end of the book.

Imperfectly Perfect!!!!
Firstly....Amazing. Extraordinary. A HUGE 5 stars not just for the story, but to Harper Sloan for putting herself out there to fight her own demons knowing that there's so many other women that fight a daily constant battle with themselves to see the person they are inside which is sometimes so hard, it takes that one special person to give you the strength to look inside yourself!! Secondly....I think I'm love not only with Kane Masters...duh...that's a given, the man is beautiful in and out!!! But also with Willow Tate, she's such a fighter and so much strength even after they tried to break her will....she fought back for herself but with Kane by her side she fought to stand 7ft tall against them her stepfather, her sister, her ex husband the ones who knocked her down. I loved Kirby and Eddie her best friends!! I'm not going to go into the story of this book, just know this is a story of Pride, strength, determination but most of all LOVE and I loved it. I've read every book of Harper Sloans and she never fails to deliver but what I think gets me more with this particular story it's a personal battle and it shows how ignorant and cruel people can be when you don't fit in to the size category but at the end of it all its how beautiful you are on the inside that counts. A must read....you definitely won't be disappointed!! <3

I am so glad I read this book through the recommendation of my friend Allana. This book is a masterpiece and is probably the most beautiful story I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I will start by saying, I am Willow and I truly believe that there is a Willow in all of us. Most of us have struggledone with self image and self doubt at some point in our lives and have felt alone in our struggles. What this books shows us is that we need to be the change we want to see in ourselves and it doesn't matter what anyone thinks as long as we are happy and we love ourselves but that can be easier said than done. Harper has done a truly amazing job telling Willows story and empowering her throughout. It can't have been an easy story to write but my god has she done it justice and if everyone feels how I felt when they finish this book it's a very euphoric feeling. Making my way through the story I had one thought kept popping in my head, this is me. I know these feelings, I know this punishment, I know these cruel words. I even have my very own Kane in the former of my husband. He may not be a movie star but he does for me what Kane does for Willow. Every word in Perfectly Imperfect I felt and I urge all woman to read this book because it will have a huge impact on you as a reader and a person. I really can't praise the story or Harper enough. The story will stay with me for a very long time and I will go back and read it over and over because not only is it a story that has stole my heart but also one that made me realise we all struggle and we should never keep quiet about it. I'm jealous of everyone who gets to read this book for the first time! Savour it!

An OK read !!
I liked this book, but I didn't LOVE it and I was suprised because I really thought I would. It was well written as all of Harper's books are, and I truly admire her for tackling this problem that's - well lets face it, most of us have and still do experience most days. I'm a "larger" lady so I know what this can feel like but I feel to some extent the problem was never fully tackled in this book, a little glossed over by the romance side of the story which in my opinion was way over the top. Willow Tate has just come out of an abusive marriage, constantly put down for her size by her husband and ridiculed by her step father and step sister, all the confidence has been knocked out of her. She is at her lowest point, when in her attorneys office on the day of finalizing her divorce, she has a chance encounter with a pair of gorgeous blue eye's and they belong to Kane Masters - top paid actor in Hollywood, sexy, rich good looking, and he has one aim in life - to make Willow his. He want's her like nothing else he has ever felt in his whole existence, even though he has had the most beautiful women on his arm, he can have his pick of the Hollywood elite but it's not them he wants. This book is how he sets out to woo and win Willow, a heart that is bruised, broken and a self esteem at rock bottom is not going to be an easy task. Will he succeed, you will have to venture inside this book to find out. I struggled half way through this book, I thought the story would have worked so much better if the lead male character had not of been who is was but just a normal run of the mill guy dealing with everyday life, the problems that willow had were on constant replay and for me it got slightly repetitive. If only it was that easy to meet a rich man who can whisk you away and make all these doubts and major body issue's- which willow had plenty of, evaporate in the space of around 2 months. I think not !! Most people's life's are not like that and that is where this book went wrong in my opinion. Also Kane started out as the typical handsome alpha male - assertive, in charge - driven, but even he grated on me after a while and was a let down in my eyes, too slushy, to soppy, tripping over his feet to please - he was not for me in the end. The premise of this story was good one but sadly it didn't work for me at all, but I do love the way Harper bought this issue to light based on her own dealings with this subject and she continues to do so - I applaud her for that and if you get a chance to listen to the playlist for this book, it is absolute perfection. One of the best I have encountered in relation to a book and story line. Nothing will stop me reading this author's books but this one sadly was just not for me.

5 steal you heart stars
MY REVIEW Every woman(and some men) have had some sort of body image issue at some point in their lives, within this book Harper Sloan has given us a story we con relate to in some way or another. Willow's character is completely brainwashed and beaten down by her family, she is stuck in her own head and unable to see ant beauty in herself. While Kane star actor and all people seem to see is his outward beauty and his bank balance, he is surrounded by people but inside he is lonely, he needs someone real that will see him as a man not the star. Willow’s character tells a story of self discovery and moving forward, learning that loving yourself isn’t always easy but so worth it. Perfectly Imperfect is emotional and gives you all the feels, it makes you think on how you look at yourself and the choices you make. Harper Sloan has a wonderful writing style and Perfectly Imperfect was a great read for me. I was drawn in right from the start and was immediately invested in the lovable characters and I devoured the story quickly.

Perfectly imperfect
What a good read, i thoroughly loved the relationship between the two main characters and the hero was just the type of alpha male i love to read. I Spoilers DON'T READ IN IF YOU DON'T WANT ANY PART SPOILT With regards to the secret, I'm a little disappointed, surely there was scope to have a book two with Mia and the baby daddy, was he that unredemable that he deserved what he got?? I kinda got the feeling Mia had feelings for him.

Amazing
HOLY FREAKING WOW!!! If you haven’t read this yet, then I really do recommend it!! I must admit I have been putting off reading this, sometimes a book hits a bit close to home and this was one of them. I finally put on my big girl panties and read it though. When I said read it, I mean I could not put this down for love nor money, or even sleep!!! It grabbed me and held on so tight there was no putting it down for later. It touches on some rather sensitives issues throughout but every one of these is dealt with tactfully. It is sooooo well written that you feel everything poor Willow feels. All her lows are right there in front of you, but her highs make you feel like you’re flying as much as she is. When Kane sees Willow in passing, at some of her all-time lows, he still feels a spark between them, he needs to find a way to get this enigma into his life and keep her there. She has many issues with her self-image, never truly believing in herself. Some of this changes when she finally realises that Kane means what he is saying. He wants her and only her. However, nothing in life is ever that simple. He has secrets, Willow knows he has them, but he can’t share them with her. For someone with trust issues this could tear them apart. Can Kane figure out a way to keep his word to his friend whilst not losing the love of his life?? ABSOLUTELY FREAKING AMAZING!!!!!
