If you really like coconut water and watermelon, you'll probably like these. The coconut water flavor is significantly stronger than the watermelon juice, so I wasn't AS into it as others might be (I like coconut water sometimes, but in very small doses). The coconut water was just a little too earthy for me, and the beverage kind of smelled, oddly, like a box of dried pasta to me.The can design for these is very appealing, and the ingredients list is excellent, at just 2 ingredients, but my biggest deterrent from wanting these again is the price point. I think for that price, I might as well make fresh watermelon juice and add some Bai to it.

This is very refreshing watermelon juice and tastes great chilled. Does it taste like real watermelon juice. Yes, but it’s not quite the same as fresh, pure watermelon juice. It’s hard to put my finger on the difference because the can says 100% juice and it only contains two ingredients: watermelon juice and natural watermelon flavor. Maybe it’s the natural watermelon flavor that throws it off.My first impression, after my first sip, is that it tasted like it contained artificial sweetener or added sugars. I immediately looked at the nutrition label and, to my surprise, it contained neither. I drank a few more sips and the taste started to grow on me, but it still doesn’t resemble fresh watermelon juice. I’ve taken a break from drinking it to write this review, and there is a bit of an aftertaste that is lingering.The watermelon juice is still delicious and I would look forward to drinking this on a hot day. It’s a good beverage. But as someone who looks forward to summer and the ripe watermelon season, this didn’t fully live up to my expectations. I’m sure the natural flavors help with keeping it shelf-stable, but it has an adverse effect on the taste. It kind of reminds me more of a watermelon candy flavor.

I love everything watermelon. Price changes online constantly, but whatever you choose this is so tasty.

I do not drink soda. This canned beverage is perfect for me. I love watermelon juice. It is light, refreshing and contains important electrolytes that our body needs. This beverage was very light. It has been strained, so it is just watermelon juice without the fiber. It only contains the natural sugar from the watermelon itself. There are no added sugars or artificial sweeteners. I really appreciate that it did not have any additives. I poured it over ice and enjoyed it ice cold on a sweltering day.I normally juice watermelon and drink it throughout the summer. I do not think this canned beverage is as good as fresh juiced watermelon but it is really good. When I juice watermelon, I normally do not strain the fiber out. Without the fiber, the juice was really clear and smooth. The texture was more like water and not as thick as my homemade watermelon juice. I believe ALO slim can is a good alternative if you do not have time to juice your own watermelon or the inclination to make your own watermelon juice. It is also convenient if you are out and about, and want to grab a quick refreshing drink to cool off. They were really tasty, and not too sweet.I think the beverage would work better if it were carbonated. I love carbonated fruit juices. Carbonated, this would be a healthy natural soda. I enjoyed this beverage without the carbonation. I would have loved it more if it were carbonated. I would order these again and keep some on hand in my cupboard.

This review is for the "ALO Slim Can Juice | 80% Watermelon Juice + 20% Coconut Water". These drinks were made in Vietnam and ship in a cardboard bottomed 12 packs that is plastic wrapped. The best buy date on the bottom of the cans I received is December 11th 2025, so they're good for about 18 months from when I received them. The slim cans are not carbonated and do need to be shaken before being poured or drank. The color is very pink but the flavor is more leaning toward coconut water. It's also kind of one note and is much improved with a twist of lemon or lime. If you're a fan of just fruit juice, these are a nice refreshing option but I found it hard to finish a full can in one sitting. The flavor would be nice as a cocktail mix-in though.
