This is a neat gift and although it turned out OK, it wasn't as easy to work with as we had hoped.This product says its for babies, and thats accurate. I tried to use this with our 3 year old son and his hand was too big for us to make a mold that would fit. We ended up using it for our 12 month old and it fit OK. Making the imprint was a challenge though. The "clay" is easy enough to work with, but it's extremely sticky when soft. It kept sticking to my daughters hand when trying to create the mold and it wouldnt release from her hand easily enough, ruining the imprint, so we had to do it a couple of times before getting a good imprint.Once the molds were made, the instructions say it needs to sit for at least 24 hours on one side and then flip over and let it sit more to fully harden. We followed the instructions, but found that while it was drying, the clay "curled" somewhat causing the back surface to no longer lay flat. Once the clay is completely dry, it has a rubbery feel to it and was difficult to get into the frame correctly.Overall, its a neat concept and perhaps with someone more meticulous, it could have turned out better. The end result doesnt look as nice as the stock photo, but it's still a cool gift. Before buying something like this again, I would like to try a competing product to see if our struggles are unique to this specific one, or if thats just "how it is".

The frame of this arrived cracked (it looked as though the box was dropped during shipping) and not repairable. I was in a pinch and decided to go buy a new frame shadow box and use the rest of the product which turned out great! The clay itself was more than enough to create three small placements. The clay placements did take about 48 hours to completely dry. Note they still will be a little flexible. I also found that the sticky tape provided wasn’t the best, I had to reinforce with super glue. (It worked for 2, but the other placement kept falling after awhile) But, the end product was exactly what I envisioned. It just took a little more creativity than what was provided to me in the box. I would order again, but I would allow enough time that if the product was damaged to be able to return, etc. In the end, it was a beautiful 1st Father’s Day present.

I absolutely love this. My mom did this for me and my 4 siblings when we were babies and now we’re all grown up with our families starting and wanted to keep this tradition. It was so simple to do and dried in the exact time it said it would be ready. It stated it came with double sided tape for the picture and my box did not come with any. That is why I rated 4 stars. I am unsure how to state the name as well like they have pictured and wish they provided something to put in the name section to make it a little easier. But overall great product. I wish I could buy three more as I want 4 children but have to wait for the future and still hope these are around.

Bought this for my twin grandbabies. They are 7 months old, worked perfectly!! So very easy and much better than the stuff you to mix. I have used it too with disastrous results and crying babies. Frame is good quality, written instructions very easy to follow. I highly recommend this product.

One of my best friends is about to have a baby girl! I gave this to her as a gift at her baby shower, and she loves it. She can’t wait to make sweet memory of her baby girl when she was just baby. Perfect little kit, comes with everything you need to make that baby’s handprint and have forever memories. Great gift for expecting mamas. I can’t wait till my little one is here, I will definitely be doing this with my baby.

I got this as a wifes mothers day gift and was severly disappointed. Here's why-- The thing takes at least two days to dry according to the directions.- When they dry the mold starts to curl and eventually warp. You lose some if the definition and depth of the handprints.

So cute! I still need to go to the store and get a picture printed up of her but how cute are her little feet and that was the best I could do on her hands! Will definitely order again!

This product comes with 2 pieces of clay to use (for both sides of the picture frame). One of the pieces of clay was completely ruined and stuck to the plastic it came in. We couldn't salvage any of it to use. Will be returning. Waste of my time and money.
