I'm retired and living on a fixed income. I've been using Advocate glucose testing meters and Redi-Code test strips for years and find them to provide me with a good alternative to more expensive testing devices and test strips. I was questioning the accuracy of my current Advocate meter, which is 2-3 years old, and it did not come with any test solution. Also, I needed a new lancing device as my old one was worn out. Rather than try to locate the proper test solution for my meter (ads were confusing on which one of two solutions I needed) I decided to just purchase a new meter kit that came with a lancing device and the proper test solution, plus some test strips and lancets. The ad might have said it only included 10 test strips, but I assumed it would include 50. I'm satisfied with what I received for the price, but less than thrilled.

I bought a 4 pack of strips and they expired in two months. I bought another brand and tossed these.

Great for testing blood glucose.It generates accurate blood sugar readings! It is a talking machine that gives instructions.
