This is a great low cost option for geared motors with matching wheels. I ordered them for my robotics projects as it can sometimes be difficult to match motors to wheels when procured separately. I do wish that the gearboxes had more mounting options since these seem to have been designed to mount to the side of a vehicle vs to the top or bottom of a base plate, but at this price I think it's worth the extra work to fashion a simple mounting plate even though a template is not provided either.

i tested these at 5Volts and they worked fine. As one would expect from a DC motor, they ran one way and when I switched the polarity of the power than ran the other (glad physics still works). When running the gear boxes make what I guess I'd call a "toy car sound" pretty satisfying to my ears. These make a nice, inexpensive way for someone young or old to get into electronic projects/robots. The wheels/tires fit the axles snugly and are a reasonable size for the above mentioned projects.
