We had a 2L water bladder previously, but found that it was not large enough for some big hikes that we like to do. This is a perfect size for us. I like that the lid stays attached so that you don’t lose it or it doesn’t fall into the dirt when you’re trying to refill it. It’s easy to get water through the straw.The only complaint I have is that the cap over the straw is so difficult to open that I find I need to leave it open instead of fussing with it every time. This is not ideal because I don’t want dirt and dust to get on it. But I can see that the cap may eventually break off after some wear and tear.

I picked this up to have a backup water bladder for my bag that I carry when I go mountain biking. The 2 liter capacity is perfect because I keep water in here and a bottle on my bike with electrolytes so I don't have to be chugging sweet drink the entire time. The construction is good and I haven't gotten any leaks yet. The mouth piece is a pop out design which I like and you feel a nice snap into place when it is open/closed. I like to be able to unscrew and wash this out even though some of my others are the wide open top design with the chip clip style. For an affordable bladder, this is definitely a good option to have an extra one or replace an old worn out one.

This is a nice replacement water bladder for your hiking backpack. It has a nice, clear hose with a cover for the mouthpiece. The material that it's made out of seems reasonably durable and should last quite some time. You could either use this as a replacement, or put it into a backpack that doesn't include a water bladder. I'd recommend this!!
