I've bought similar hibiscus clips before, so I knew generally what to expect. The biggest issue with this set is they are all crammed into a small bag and arrived very smooshed and somewhat bent. Hopefully they will flatten out a bit with continued some effort and time.Aside from that, these clips are a cute accessory. The flowers are affixed to alligator clips, so they really aren't well suited to be the primary thing holding up your hair. However, I think they are perfect additions to ponytails, buns, or twists. The flowers are quite large and, when positioned well, they stay in the hair well and look very nice and summery.

Yeah it’s true that if you’re 3’ away you can tell that these are not live hibiscus flowers. However, for the price here they are a great deal because they are perfect for wearing for anything Hawaiian themed and the clips work exceptionally well on my thin strands (but at the same time I have lots of hair). It is hard for me to find clips that stay up well and these are great! At first when they arrived I thought that it was not a positive thing that they were somewhat flattened. Then I tried them on and realized that you really don’t want something this large sticking out from your head! So, it’s a good thing! I think that they look quite beautiful. What do you think?

Ok I'll be honest, these Hawaiian flower hair clips are just not that good. I have two big gripes ... The clip attachment part just looks cheap... I feel most people could DIY this and make it look better than these flowers do. The flowers themselves are just...meh. They might be ok from a distance but up close it just doesn't look that great. They also arrived squished and misshaped. These are a pass for me.

I ordered these because I am planning to visit Hawaii soon and what better way to fit in with the locals than to have a lovely native flower in your hair? These hair clips are imitation hibiscus flowers, a flora which is closely associated with traditional Hawaiian culture. The set of three I received were an orange, reddish/orange and a white flower. These are not heirloom quality, so don't expect you'll pass these along for future generations (they won't last that long) but for wearing a few times they seem sturdy enough to hold together. The flowers are glued to small metal alligator type hair clips and they seem to hold in place well enough on my trial run. A couple were somewhat rumpled from being carelessly rammed into the plastic bag, but the material is forgiving, and I was able to bend the petals back into place without any trouble. Cute enough. I'll see you in Honolulu soon with a pretty hibiscus in my hair!
