Finally a good usb-c dock that supports two devices
Great little KVM. I use this to connect my work Macbook Pro and my home Windows 10 laptop to the same external monitor, keyboard and mouse. It let's me switch between them with ease.I used to use a single usb-c dock but the wired-in cable wore out from constantly switching between devices. This has separate usb-c cables that are replaceable for each device, which should be a lot more long-lived. The button that lets you switch has a decently long cable and works well.Very convenient and so far no issues. Would recommend.

Some notes on this device
POWERThe unit contains 4 USB-C connections associated with 2 ports. Each port has a power input and a "PC"/device port. Each power port can only provide power to the associated "PC" port. With no power connected to the KVM it will draw about 5V 0.2A from whichever is the selected "PC" port. If power is provided to input 2 and connection 1 is used for the device then power is taken from the device on port 1 to power the hub - it won't utilise power from the unselected port.If 2 power connections are made to the KVM and 2 devices connected then they are both charged with each power port only ever providing power through to the associated "PC" port. e.g. with one PSU limited to 15V and the other 20V, 15V is provided through to the "PC" port associated with the 15V input and 20V is provided through to the "PC" port associated with the 20V input.Since the hub requires power, the power output to the device will not be as high as the power provided to the input. The hub seems to step down to the next available option which is compatible with the power supply AND the hub AND the device. I've seen a 60W supply (20V 3A) step down to providing what is I think 20V 2.25A to the device but I've also seen a 45W supply only provide 10W to the device because, I guess, all of the intermediate options are not compatible with all of the power supply, hub and device so there can sometimes be what at first seems like strange behaviour w.r.t. power provision but this is the hub doing the right thing so as not to overload any power supply.USB-C CABLESThe unit comes with 2 off 1m USB-C cables and I originally bought and returned a hub as none of the longer cables I had would allow this range to be increased. I then made gradual experiments with purchase of different cables and a simple USB-C to HDMI adapter with some success and bought the Sabrent device again. I am now using it at between 3 and 3.5m using at least 2 off 0.5m USB-C EXTENSION leads (CONMDEX branded 10Gbps) and a 2m Startech USB-C cable (TBLT3MM2M or 2MW 20Gbps leads). I use more than 2 devices and tend to use only a single port on the hub and swap using the USB-C connection. I have a 0.5m extension and the 2m cable plugged into the hub giving 2.5m reach and a further 0.5m extension on each device I want to use to give easier access and extending the total reach to 3m. It is not too inconventient to swap the USB-C lead when it swaps KV&M and power provision all at the same time. I have found polarity is important (for the USB KM interface) and so have labelled this "switch point" with tape. Essentially I am creating something more like the smaller single port devices with HDMI and USB but have only short cables with a USB-C plug adn reach can only be extended using USB-C extension leads. That might be an alternative with access to better USB-C extension leads should they become available.RELIABILITYGenerally I find things good but do have an issue if my Chromebook sleeps - it seems to reboot. This is with no power supply connected to the hub (i.e. the Chromebook is powering it) and I have yet to experiment to see if a power supply into the hub will stop this happening. An update to the above reliability section: I'm now using a power supply to power the Sabrent unit (and charge the Chromebook through it). With one Chromebook, being connected to the hub seems to prevent it sleeping but I don't see the reboots any more and with a different Chromebook it sleeps and can be woken using the keyboard connected through the hub - so a much better result than I'd previously noted! I also use this with a NUC mini desktop running Windows and CloudReady and a Chromebox with no issues.

Good product of you don’t mind the slight delay on switching
Good product - does exactly as describes. I use to switch between a MacBook and PC laptop. The only downside is that it takes about 7 or 8 seconds to switch between computers - it seems it’s re-discovering the USB devices each time. It also takes longer if the destination machine has put its display to sleep.

Seemed great at first. Read update section
I looked at a few of these before settling on this. Compared to the competition this was the cheapest, although itIs by no means cheap for a basic KVM.I’m using it to switch between a MacBook Pro 16” and Intel NUC running Linux. Both are sharing a HP Z27 4K display and a mechanical keyboard. The mouse is Bluetooth (MX Master 2s) is irrelevant to the KVM setup. Not much more to add. Nice simple one click button switches between the two. I can speak to the longevity as I have only been using it for a month so far. But so far so good.I’ve stuck mine to the underside of my standing desk and it has subsequently really removed a load of wires from view, which is always a bonus. So, in conclusion, it has worked as advertised and I’m happy with the purchase. Recommended.UPDATE: ended up returning this as it wasn’t sending audio down the HDMI cable. Same cable worked perfectly when connected directly. Sabrent advised it should be sending audio and to try a different cable. Instead, I ended up purchasing a different solution. Your mileage may vary!

YES THANK GOD
During the pandemic I was using a docking station for my work Macbook Pro, and would just pop and swap to my personal Macbook Pro whenever I wanted to switch modes. It was pretty tiresome to always have to be popping and swapping laptops every day, so I was looking for a good KVM that would let me connect both and just swap at the press of a button. I've used many KVMs in the past but never a USB-C KVM before this one. Every worked perfectly right off the bat! The only negative to this product is that the USB ports are USB 2.0 so transfer speeds aren't super fast if you attach a USB hub and have any storage media connected. I connected my keyboard to one port, a USB hub to the second port, with a webcam, mouse, and wireless audio 2.4Ghz transmitter and all worked smoothly without problems. Loving this product! It takes about 5-8 seconds after pressing the button to switch between devices but that is totally normal for a KVM. I couldn't be happier!

Veramente utile e funzionale

Works well 4k @ 60hz w/ Mac and Linux
Finally a product to multiplex two modern computers to a single monitor/keyboard/mouse. Running 4k @ 60hz with Mac and Linux over supplied USB-C cables, and charging them -- all works great! I even put in a small hub and added a webcam and a network adapter to the keyboard port and even that works quite well (even though it wasn't intended to be used this way). Nice product! (Note - ChromeOS puts out only 4k@30hz but I think that's ChromeOS's fault, not the switch. Mac and Linux both work fine with the switch at 4k@60hz)
