I am post op abdominal surgery. The binder the hospital gave me was huge and not helpful. Way too long and difficult to tighten adequately. This binder is perfect. The right depth for my body frame. I can sit in it and have support without discomfort. Standing I can adjust it 3 ways. With the main wrap around and then 2 straps that cross cross and add or relax as much support as I want. It’s been a life saver and has decreased my pain tremendously. Thank you! I had abdominoplasty and the binder I was sent home, from surgery, in was way too big and wide and chaffed my skin. I am 5'2 tall and this 9 inch binder was perfect. Comfortable and easy to adjust for the compression needed. If you are recovering from a tummy tuck or c-section look no further! This is THE BEST on the market.

I got this shaper to help suck my tummy back in after having my baby this September. I waited a couple days before putting it on for the first time to give my organs a second to breath after having a baby. I believe I purchase a M and it fits pretty good. I'm 5'1" and about 160lb normally - right after baby I was at about 177lbs when I began wearing it.It went around me pretty well, the Velcro on the main wrap never fully closes though, so I almost always have a bit not attached to itself and it tends to be a little scratchy which I don't like BUT that may have been fixed if I got a size larger, I just personally wanted one that would be tighter to suck it all in more.I think the secondary straps are a little silly/unnecessary but they don't harm anything or get in the way so I don't think that is a con by any means.One thing I do want to mention is the length of the product is a little short for what I wanted, it tends to give me those odd back rolls from where the top cuts me. so if I have the product pulled down to cover lower tummy area like I like, the top cuts weird and I get those rolls. Not the prettiest look in my option but that may be able to be fixed again if I had gotten a size up, it may just be a little small for me and my fault.I would recommend to anyone looking for a product to help with post baby belly.

I would not purchase it again. I bought my daughter 3 postpartum bands and this is the one she ended up not using. Not as comfortable as the others I bought.

I bought this item for postpartum recovery and got a medium it was very comfortable and not too tight definitely recommend :)

Purchased for post major abdominal surgery, guessed at the right size and having read several reviewers comments purchased a larger size than I expected I needed... and thank you to all those reviewers who shared, they were right! Size up in case you have extra swelling or bloating after a surgery... I found that this binder's description and measurements were easy to navigate and I did get the right size (as opposed to purchasing a different brand the "same" size at the same time - I returned that one as it was not sized as listed). I can highly recommend this binder if you have a small waist and wider hips or 'curves' because the two adjustable straps can be tightened to provide support. I found this feature to be extremely helpful to keep my swollen belly up and away from the large incision... I can highly recommend this binder to help with abdominal muscle support as well as to keep wound space protected while healing.

I am a size 3, normally and had to order a medium, while I believe I wouldn’t have gone wrong with a large. Due to the small fit, if it’s too small on your tummy, the Velcro WILL bug you and scratch you. U have to get it just past your belly so the Velcro doesn’t scratch you. It does the job right and the price is great. I use it postpartum and my uterus was completely gone after wearing this for 3 days. I did notice a significant different in the reduction of my belly in inches. It also helped with flattening my belly button back from outtie back to innie. You also might want to wear a cami over this so the band doesn’t show through your top because if you don’t, the belt part shows right through.

I love the extra tightener. It's a great back support and also cinches the waist. Slightly bulky/bumpy so you wouldn't want to wear under something sheer as a shapewear. This is more practical for someone needing back support and tummy training like after birth.
