Bad quality
Putting this as a 5 start bc who reads the 1 star reviews.I don’t know if it’s just bad luck or what but twice I’ve bought this filament and twice it has failed me. This was a fresh roll and as you can tell the quality sucks. I’ve been printing for years and haven’t had many issues with quality. It didn’t matter if I printed slower or faster, hotter or colder. Or even if I changed other settings to improve it, it still looked terrible. I’m not sure if while on the shelf it soaked up a lot of moisture but it shouldn’t have being as it was sealed.

Excellent Filiment
The price was good and wanted to try the brand, also have one of their resin printers, very pleased at the quality of the print, bought 2 orders of white and like it, just ordered black in pteg to try out. Good company.

Hands down, best filament I've used
I’m thrilled with my Bambu X1C, especially when using Elegoo filament. Elegoo’s PLA outperforms others, including Bambu’s filament, which is still decent but doesn’t quite match Elegoo’s reliability or luster. Elegoo filament delivers a clean, polished look and holds up exceptionally well, even during fast printing. Their color options and types of filaments are wonderfully varied. I love the galaxy colors and the natural stone. Ive been exclusively using Elegoo for my niche prints, and every item comes out absolutely stunning!

Great for quality prints
This brand never disappoints. Always great especially if I need it in a hurry or emergency!!! Great color doesn’t cause an odor runs great at high speed and quality speed compared to other cheaper brands!!!!

Tangles easily when in AMS. Problem solved if placed into different spools.
I bought 3 rolls, a yellow, a black, and a grey. I’m in the middle of printing a single multicolor model using the AMS on a P1S. At 4 hours into an 8 hour print, both the gray and yellow have gotten tangled multiple times during this print. The yellow somehow even had a knot tied in the strand. I don’t have any idea how you would even accomplish that.Edit: I watched it unrolling. It looks like the cardboard spool has uneven sides. So when the AMS goes to pull the filament out it is very easy for it to come off the rails and start unwinding. Also the filament itself seems twisted on the roll. Between those two problems it has zero chance of working right. I’ll probably just pull the sides of the spools off and throw the filament on a plastic spool.Edit 2: I am updating to 4 stars. The filament itself works great with almost no tuning on a P1S with an AMS. The only problem is the cardboard spools. I understand why they use cardboard. I also understand that if you do not have an AMS (or similar) system then the cardboard will have zero impact on your printing and everything will be just fine.Fortunately the spools are a perfect fit for the bambu lab spools - I have included a picture with the filament moved over. This made it trivial to take to the card board sides off and slide these rolls onto new spools. Once I did that I have had zero issues with printing.

Not bad.
Packaged well and even though it read high humidity, it printed decent for a two prints and then I dried it for 8 hours down to 10%. Filament improved. Not bad overall.

Excellent Quality Filament
I have purchased this filament numerous times because it is consistently the same color and excellent quality each time. A lot of children, family members, and many other people have benefited from the prints we have made from Elegoo filaments. The white is particularly popular. I have had requests for more prints with the white filament, after seeing certain prints. Elegoo white filament is one of my favorites.

Will Not Print *UPDATED*
Skip to end for original review.I'd like to restart this review saying that ELEGOO customer service is pretty great. They contacted me almost a day after I left the first review. At first, they wanted more information about what I did for troubleshooting. Then once I told them what I tried to do to fix it, they offered to fully refund me or send me a new roll of filament for replacement. I accepted the replacement hoping I could use this cheap filament.Once the new filament arrived, I spent some time cleaning the hot end of my printer and re-calibrating my auto bed leveling (CR Touch). Tried the new filament roll and it worked perfectly. I haven't had a failed print or a misprint, and I have less than 200g left on the roll.I'm not sure what changed between the first and the second roll, but I haven't had a problem since. Because this filament printed so flawlessly (albeit after the first bad roll and hours of troubleshooting) I think I'll continue to use this. My plan is to use this PLA for testing purposes, then print my final models with PETG from a different brand. As far as I can tell, this filament does exactly what it needs to. I'm not one to speak on quality, just as long as it makes a decent print. I did run into some bed adhesion issues on thin prints that lifted off of the bed, but that was fixed by a reprint and a glue stick. So far, so good ELEGOO. Thanks for caring and for trying to fix what was wrong. I hope to see more of your product in the future.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'll start this review off with saying that I am only a hobbyist and that there is a lot I don't know.I was very excited to give this low-cost PLA a try, so I don't have to use my slightly more expensive PETG to test out my projects and designs. For this price, I was ready to make a bulk order.I only bought one roll at first. There wasn't really anything that seemed too special, or any advantage over the other brand that I mainly use. Upon printing, though, I ran into some issues. Now my setup isn't your typical 3D printer layout. I have an Ender 3 V2, which is inside of a repurposed cabinet, with my filament rolls sitting above the cabinet inside of a repurposed PC case. From the PC case, the filament has to travel about 15-20 inches through a PTFE tube (stock ender 3 bowden tube, plus a section of Capricorn ptfe bowden tube), to the printer extruder. I haven't had any issues with the printer having the ability to pull the filament all that way, but it will probably end up just wearing out my extruder motor faster.Whether all that makes sense or not, moral of the story is that my usual filaments don't have a problem being pulled such lengths. What happened with this specific filament is a different story.Usually, I'm able to press start on a print and then walk away, come back however many hours (in this case it was a 19hr print), and then have my project me done and ready to go. Now on this print, I went to check on it about 15hrs into the print, and noticed that my printer had only laid it's single first layer on the build plate, then nothing else was printed. My hot end was sitting there floating, with my extruder gear still trying to push filament through. Turns out, my extruder gear had wore a notch into the filament, and the filament would no longer be pushed through the hot end.Tried multiple times to restart the print, clear the hot end, even increase the hot end from a recommended 200C to the PETG temp of 240C to make whatever blockage there was melt. Nothing made a permanent difference. I finally gave up when I had my hot end set at 245C, and extrusion speed at 30 mm/sec. Slow and hot for PLA. Nothing would work. I would only get the first couple layers to print, then it acted like it was clogged and the extruder gear would sit there and spin. So, maybe the problem is my setup and how far away my filament is from my printer. Even though this probably isn't common to do, my usual brand of Overture hasn't had any issues, PLA or PETG.I can't comment on quality, strength, or anything else, because I couldn't get it to even print.I will try sometime on the future to see if I can come up with a solution, then change my review if I find anything. Thanks for your time.
