The right fit
Works well for my needs. I use it with my two vintage lenses; it fits them and is not bulky.

Nice packaging, but that is where the good stops.
The item arrived nicely packaged. The adaptor looked to have a nice finish too. That is the good. On to the problems. First of all the lens would not click lock securely into either of my LUMIX camera bodies. I reported this to the Support email included with the packaging. Compared to mother lens adaptors the pin which triggers the click/lock was substantially shorter than my other lens adaptors. I included this detail in my support email. The response was to change the adjustment on the lens group. This did not solve the problem and added another one, a lens coil no longer focus to infinity. After another exchange of emails I asked for a replacement adaptor which went unanswered. Nice packaging, nice finish, reasonable price but final quality check and customer satisfaction are not considerations. Never buy this product is my suggestion.

Update in 4th year: Buy It if you use M42 lenses
I am a repeat customer of this product because I like the first one so much. It also works very well on my GH5ii. It is on the camera almost all of the time. The pixco protects my sensor in harsh environments as I switch through three favorite m42 lenses that give me great results.. Since the original 2021 review, I also tried Kipon speed booster, and it will not work at all on any of my Panasonic cameras. This Pixco speed booster is the only one that works for me. What I wrote in 21 is still accurate: I used it this morning with a Zeiss Jena 20mm M42 lens. The images produced with this speed booster and all of my lenses are very nice. The Pixco adapter fits my Panasonic G9 [and GH5ii] cameras and lenses very well. I bought a more expensive Zhongyi unit first, and it was low quality with significant play at the camera and lens mounts. The Zhongyi is expensive junk. I recommend buying the much less expensive and much higher quality Pixco adapter.

Works, lens is clear
No rattle or loose parts. Lens is clear and properly widens the field of view of my lenses. Don't have any complaints for the price.

Decent adapter, but doesn't fit the BMCC without a ton of modifications
I bought this hoping to use it on my BMCC MFT camera but found it wouldn't even mount flush to the camera. After several hours of grinding with a Dremel I can finally mount it and rotate it maybe 1/3 of the normal distance. It doesn't lock on the camera, but it's super tight so it won't fall off.It works. The field of view legitimately increases, and I don't notice any loss in visual fidelity.

Focal length adapter M42-M43
A great option to utilize my legacy Takumar lenses with the focal length adapted for M43. I was surprised at how well the optical concentrator functions at maintaining a relatively close perspective of the original legacy lens. Keep in mind to determine the corrected focal length of the lens with the adapter you divide the legacy focal length by the M43's aspect ration to the 35mm film frame; This result is then multiplied by 0.71 (the adaptor's correction ratio) and this will be the corrected focal length.

Not what I order, and definitely not what was advertised in the listing.
First off, I selected the FD to Micro 4/3, but got a M42 to Micro 4/3. Not happy, but I can cope. But it gets worse. This is not a speed booster as advertised, but a micro lens. I can take some very close up shots with it. I could already do that; looks like I just threw away $90. Not buying anything else form Pixco

Works great! Definitely let’s in more light
I’m very happy with this purchase. I use it currently to adapt my vintage lens to my Panasonic GH1.I mainly wanted speedbooster to adapt my m42 lenses to my GH1 and make sure I didn’t lose f stops in the process. To my surprise this focal reducer not only kept my full frame vintage lens at the same zoom distance but also allows the lens to let in more light. For me, this item has performed great and at a great price.
