We are redoing my oldest's bedroom into a gamer theme and this was just right. First of all, he can't hear a thing when he's gaming so I'm going to have him turn this on when he's got ear buds in as my sign to visually get his attention first lol. And it's an awesome on theme way to add some ambiance to his room. Out of the box just slide the top into the base and plug in and you're good to go. Comes with a remote so you don't have to get up to turn on/off or change the colors. He loves it.

Looks nice and a good quality for these acrylic lamps. The remote can be a bit finicky, but that’s kind of a given with these style of lights. Either way, the lights are nice and the quality is decent, perfect for sitting on a computer desk
