Power supply world great as a bench supply and also makes a good battery charger

This is a nice little power supply and works well, I bough it to power an antique DC carbon arc lamp and it works quite well for this.

And it is adjustable to convert that DC power into different voltages, depending on what voltage you need for a particular item. This makes it possible to, for example,work on and/or test a car radio. You can do what you need to do and test it right there to make sure it is working correctly, instead of putting it back in the car again and then discovering it is not what you wanted, or doesn't work still.House voltage is much too high for many many things. So if you are able to somehow rig a battery powered item up to connect to your home electricity, that product is going to burn up, smoke, and be destroyed.This power box makes all that possible and super easy. Just be sure to adjust the power level, with the knob, to the correct voltage before you connect anything to it. If you don't do that, and the voltage is set too high, it's going to have the same effect as the AC power in your house would have.The uses are endless, from ameutures to professionals. This seems like a good unit. This is the first I’ve personally owned. It does look and work good. It’s got weight to it. The readouts are crisp. Overall, I’m happy with this power supply.
