Flexyfoot Shock Absorbing Walking Stick Ferrules - 22mm Grey - Pack of 2

These have made a big difference to my Mum, who's 90 and has twice broken her hip, resulting in serious mobility issues. The terrain outside our home is a nightmare - cobblestones, a really rough yard area, etc. - and the standard-issue ferrules on NHS sticks tended to slip and slide on any surface that wasn't flat and even. These are a bit more "spongy" and adapt well to the surface, giving much better traction and stability. I had a go myself to see if they made a difference, and I could feel instantly how much more of a comfortable and safe experience they made to walking. Very good value for the difference they've made. It was Mum's physiotherapist who recommended them, so this review comes with professional endorsement!

I have to use crutches long term,so when I got my last new pair I noticed that they were slightly short..saw these flexyfoot ferrals and thought they might work to raise me up slightly. They arrived quickly and were easy to add to my crutches suddenly I had to lower the middle extension and I was standing more upright (no more lower spine aches)..so far I have used my flexyfoot ferrals on loose gravel,wet grass & concrete and the worst tiled floors and I have survived the bottom pivot's and I can move more freely best buy, didn't have to buy complete new crutches just added to my NHS one's. Five stars from me!!
