Really pleased with this cutting tool. I needed something that would cut through some thick foam blocks with accuracy and this cutter does the job with ease. Before I had this I used a normal saw which did the job but cutting foam with a saw always ended up with a lot of mess to clean up as the teeth shredded the foam rather than cutting it. This cutter simply glides through the foam like a knife through butter, no mess, just a clean perfect cut. The first time I used it I had the heat setting a little too high but as it has 18 heat settings it’s a little trial and error at first so I would recommend using the cutter outside if possible on a few spare pieces of foam just to get the hang of it, which you soon will it’s so easy to use. After about 10mins I got the hang of what I was doing and from that point on its a slice of cake, pardon the pun. I have cut through some 6” x 4” blocks with ease and also some 2mm thick sheets with ease and accuracy (see pictures) the cutter also comes in a strong carry case complete with 4 blades, 2 cleaning tools to clean the blades after use and a handy tool to change the blades, which are different sizes, very handy. This cutter is definitely a fantastic tool for craft work and would be useful for cutting insulation sheets to get a precise cut for those awkward places.In a nutshell I’m very pleased I got this, it’s a great tool that I will come in very hand for all sorts of jobs.I would recommend 100% (it would also make a great gift for someone, this is the kind of thing you could buy for someone who is hard to buy for. A handy tool that would fit into anyone’s tool kit)

I was a little skeptical at first, but so glad as it was easy to use, performed as expected and made cutting my mattress easy.There are multiple cutting options with this, and some good tools. I’d say it’s good value for money, and will be used for multiple projects or bits and bobs over the years.The case it comes in is pretty good too, handy storage and strong enough to protect it all whilst stored away until the next time.If you’re thinking about it, I’d go for it!

This foam cutter is of great quality. The nichrome blade is sharp and heats up fast, which gives a smooth clean cut. The electric foam cutter is easy to use and and store as it has metal hook on the handle.

This worked much better than I expected. A small learning curve to get the balance between temperature and speed of cutting, as others have pointed out. However, this was easy to learn and has significantly sped up my work and makes a much neater job!

I will say multi material cutter because l only tried it the cardboard and slide through. Love it perfect for my work on site, easy to pack in the case, cheers

Utilisé pour couper proprement des cordages. Il chauffe en quelques secondes et tranche sans effort, c'est impressionnant. Dommage le coffret ne permet pas de stocker en laissant la lame montée, il faut la démonter pour tout ranger dans le coffret si utilisation occasionnelle, ou bien suspendre l'outil avec de lame montée sur un crochet si utilisation fréquente

Dabei schneidet man dies wie ein warmes Messer durch Butter.Beim schneiden wird etwas Rauch mit einem etwas verbrannten Geruch, was jedoch nicht störend ist.Für den Heimwerker zum isolieren auf jeden Fall ein zu empfehlendes Gerät.
