Philips LED Classic GU10 Glass Spot Light, Halogen Replacement, 3.5 W (35 W) - Cool White, Pack of 4

I ordered these thinking that ‘cool white’ meant a clean white bright light. They however emit a yellowish hew which was not to my liking so I returned them. I understand that this was the manufacturers - Phillips- description not the supplier who has been excellent in responding to my concern. However i was shocked to see that the cost of producing a return label was £7.18 out of a total good cost of £14.98 for sending back the 4 GU10m spot lights. I did question this with the supplier who said that they were sorry that Amazon did not inform me of this.

I chose these bulbs for the brand name. I trust Philips. Despite being slightly pricier than the generic Chinese brands on offer I think I have made the right choice. The build quality of the bulb seems better. It is much less plasticy and the glass is actually glass rather than plastic. It's too early to tell their longevity though. They produce a nice colour of light, not too artificial and white.I hope this helps. 😁

Brilliantly bright bulbs. Fabulous for bathroom, kitchen etc anywhere you need bright light.

I specifically ordered these as it specified Cool White in the description. What I received was White, which gives off a slightly yellowish glow. Not what I was looking for.
