Tjese worked great for securing new posts to our existing deck during a renovation of it. I was worried that the provided screws would be of poor quality but they worked well (only time will tell how they hold up to the elements). I gave it 4 stars, because one of the brackets we ordered (we ordered 8) was slight to small for the 4x4 and required a lot of force to get it in.Otherwise, I highly recommend this product.

My 4x4 posts fit nicely into these base mounts and the vinyl posts that go over the 4x4 posts slipped snugly over the base mounts. This was exactly what I was looking for...and mounting screws/ bolts were included. Fast shipping and packaged with no damage whatsoever.

The concrete anchor bolts were not consist in size. Some to small. The bolt would just slide right through the sleeve, or as we tighten the nut it would just keep coming up. We had to buy separate anchors at the hardware store. Didn’t last a month! Already rusted and broke.

While the brackets are sturdy and rust free, i cannot say the same for the screws that were included. Many have begun to rust in the last 4 weeks since installed. Many of the smaller screws have either rounded off or broken.
