The Homeschool Book that Needed to Be Written!
This is the homeschooling book that needed to be written! I now have a complete resource to give to any mom asking me about why I homeschool. Monica nailed it with all the reasons and benefits in such a simple, to the point, and loving way. Her tone is sweet and humorous, and I find her communication style to be both encouraging and enjoyable. This book is going to change so many families’ lives. I just encourage any mom or dad even slightly open to homeschool to read this so you too can look back one day and be proud of your parenting years and give your kids “a life they will thank you for later.”

Amazing
This has been an amazing book. If you are exploring homeschooling your children at any stage of their lives this is a great resource to have. Its full of awesome information for everyone. New homeschoolers like me who have only been on our homeschool journey for 4 years, for those who haven't started yet but are looking into it and even for those who have been homeschooling for a long time can find nuggets of information for the next season of the journey. She shares her own personal experiences with homeschooling her boys and she shares what others might do as well. She doesn't make you feel bad for choosing a different education route either. She will often say its ok if you find this isn't right for you or do what works best for you. I personally love all the information about high school as we are entering that season next year. She also helps you with alot of information regarding preparing your child for college and what tests may be needed. She really has a heart for homeschooling and it shows in her work and how she encourages everyone in this book to find what works best for them.

Get it, Read it, Never let it go!
I’ve read a few books on homeschooling and none of the ones I have read have been this helpful! Monica writes so well and shares the most helpful information, answering any questions someone may have when approaching homeschooling. Essentially, it’s the homeschooling bible. By reading this book, all my questions about homeschooling have been answered and I feel 100% more confident going into a homeschool journey with my family! If you want to homeschool, are considering it, or have questions about it, then read this book!

Love our Local Public School/ Non homeschool Parent Review
My husband is a full time teacher and coach at our local middle school. My son attends the elementary. We have had great experiences in the schools thus far- no complaints! I loved my school experience growing up in the public schools all the way through. I even LOVED school lunch. 🤪 but due to our busy lives and schedules I have desired to be with my kids more. My kids have also desired to be home a little more to just be young kids and play. I see their years flying by me!! Whatever your reason that led you to these reviews or this book, it is worth the read!! It has answered all my questions and resolved my fears. It has brought things to my attention I would not have thought of as well. From social media to schoolShootings, socialization to college prep and success, and even break downs by grades taught. The curriculum insight was so helpful also. The Lord has used this book and Monica in addition to my personal Bible study to give me peace in the decision to give it a shot this upcoming school year. I’m EXCITED!I’ve always wanted to be in the circus. So the Toms circus training starts Aug 2024! 😂👦🏻👧🏼👶🏿🦁🐒🤡🎪🤹📚✏️📓

If you're curious about homeschooling
I've homeschooled on and off over the years (more off than on). The first time I homeschooled, I went to a homeschool convention because I was curious but didn't think I was actually capable of it even though I felt it was necessary at the time. This book is what I wish I had back then. It talks about many different ways to homeschool and what those options look like.It has resources so that you can research & see what is required by law in your state for every grade and graduation. Most of us, I would like to think, want our kids to at least have not only the option of going to college but one that they want. This book tells you not only how to find the prerequisites out, but ideas on how to get your kid's buy in, so that they have the drive to succeed and you have the tools and information to get them there.Even though I helped my oldest homeschool her last year of high school (thank you Covid) and was able to produce transcripts, I wasn't sure how well colleges would accept it. She did take some dual credit classes so already had some of her college knocked out but there was a resource mentioned in this book that I didn't know existed and would have made the transition so much easier! Now I have one about to start high school and he wants to homeschool through it. After reading this book, I have the confidence to put together a curriculum that works with his interests. I won't be teaching most of it myself but I know he'll be getting the education he needs to succeed and thrive in college. Not to mention getting him in AP courses and also dual enrollment with the community college for college credits. If possible for him, I hope to have his Associates Degree done along with graduation to save him a lot of money, should he choose that route.I highly recommend this book to anyone who is even curious about homeschooling.
