iPhone 6S Case, elago® [Outift Matrix][Dark Grey] - [Premium Hybrid Construction][Brushed Aluminum][Spark Design Award] - for iPhone 6/6S

After dropping my phone face down and completely shattering my screen, I went to look for a case for my phone. I wanted a protective but minimalistic case. This type of design on the back caught my eye and fell in love with the look.This same design is on a case made by Spigen (http://www.spigen.com/brands/apple/iphone/iphone-6/iphone-6/iphone-6-case-aluminum-fit-4-7.html), but the reviews mentioned that it was made cheap material and was breaking after only a few weeks of use. Elago's case however, carries the same design, made with far better material, and it's even cheaper too, making this version far better.Upon receiving this case, I was actually more impressed than I thought I'd be. It's very sturdy and you can tell it's not made of super cheap material. It doesn't cover the bottom part where the charging port is, so you're still able to connect it to iPhone docks easily. The button holes are still easy to press as the case doesn't have much thickness on the sides.One thing I like about this case a lot (that others might not), is that it makes the sides squared off and not round as the iPhone 6 originally is. I actually prefer the squared edges versus the round because that's what makes the naked phone so slippery in the first place. The material on this case is somewhat grippy and it adds that extra hold that I was looking for.There are only two minor cons about this case. First being that it's difficult to remove the phone from the case, because the material is so firm. But with some extra force it's doable. Second, the aluminum design on the back is easily scratched. I can take my finger nail and make a temporary scratch line. Luckily after wiping it off, it seems to go away. I've only owned this case for a day so I'm not sure how the aluminum will hold up after many days of average use.Overall this is a very sexy case, and I honestly believe it's one of the best minimal sized cases out there that won't add that extra bulk like most other cases will.If you're looking for an even more thin case, I'd recommend going with this, as it would be my second choice.http://www.incipio.com/cases/iphone-cases/iphone-6-cases/feather-shine-ultra-thin-snap-on-case-with-brushed-aluminum-finish-iphone-6.html

I really love the look and feel of this case. Super slim and sleek. He two tone colors really make the phone pop. I've had an elago case before on my iPhone 5 so I ordered it again for my new iPhone 6s.Pros:Snaps right on no troubles at all. Taking it off is a little more difficult but if you plan on using it that should be much of an issue.Super slim, keeps phone light and slim.Good quality, brushed aluminum feels good and looks great (got compliments on I already)Great color options.Cons:Not the most protective case, if you drop it there is a great chance of causing some damage to your phone. Only has a slight lip over the screen and doesn't cover bottom and top completely.Doesn't have a lot of grip. Could slip out of hand. The brushed aluminum help a little but the plastic is a little slippery.On off button is a little hard to reach. With the move of the button to the side of the phone it is a little harder to push with the opening they made. The iPhone 5 was on top so much easier acces. Not a major proplem but could start to become an irritation.Overall I love the look of the cases. so if you are more into making your phone look good than safe, this is the case for you! Otherwise invest into a spigen case for slim but good protection or an otterbox for safety.

Five stars for :1) the case itself, which is phenomenal. Beautiful design, adds a weight that just feels right for a device as beautiful as the iPhone 6. It is NOT an otter box, so don't expect it to offer that level of protection. It is a sleek and slim case that is clearly made to look good when it's out of your pocket or purse. And it does. However, as such, I imagine it won't perform like a block of foam and rubber if you drop it.2) their customer service. I had an issue, which is explained below, and they attempted to resolve it and were only unable to do so because it was out of their control by the time I reached out to them. I received a quick reply to my initial inquiry (and it wasn't a form letter) and actually had a pleasant conversation with their customer service personnel via email.Here's my gripe: the shipping was awfully slow. I ordered on Thursday, September 25 and the case wasn't delivered until Saturday, October 4. I was disappointed that it took that long to arrive. Elago didn't make any claims to the contrary, so I don't necessarily fault them nor do I think there was any deceit whatsoever. However, a 9 day shipment cycle is frankly inadequate, particularly for those who are used to shopping on Amazon with prime memberships in place.5 stars for the case.5 stars for customer service.1 star for shipping speed. If you need it quick, shop elsewhere. If you can wait, the case can't be improved upon, IMO.

I had this case in green for my 5S and loved it. Excellent look and feel for the price. Slim enough. For my current 6S, green isn't an option. Picked a royal aka dark blue this time. Good color. The 5S version had a very small rough spot along the bottom that rubbed my pinky finger(which I use to hold the bottom of my phone. You can snicker now.) and this version does not. Sweet for me.Both covers were/are frequently handled and positively commented on by others. For the price, it looks and protects very well. The 5S case fit better, but that has more to do with the left and right sides of the 6S. They curve and the case is straight. Protects the screen, but creates a slight difference between the case and phone form factors.All buttons and connections are fully accessible for me. Camera lens and flash are protected and have space to avoid reflections.It looks and feels like aluminum which is why most people that see it want to check it out. I haven't found a better appearance in a value case. Super lightweight. You should either get this or pay for an elegant/premium case. This elimantes the need for a mid-range choice.-C
